Purpose:

Vacuum carpet and edges to make sure flooring is free from spots, rips and strings.
Clean and open safe, refrigerator, and coffeepot.
Clean and dust the television, baseboards, top of pictures, luggage racks, headboards, drawers, closet doors, walls and mirrors.
Ensure that rooms smell fresh.
Empty and clean waste baskets.
Clean the toilet bowl so that it is free from rings and odor. Clean the base area and between the lid and hinges.
Clean the bathtub by wetting down the surfaces and spraying chemicals to set while cleaning other parts of the room. Scrub dirt and mildew and rinse surfaces and dry.
Ensure shower curtain is hung properly hooks and is clean and free of mildew. Change curtain/liner as needed.
Replace soaps, shampoo, cream, glasses and ensure that all bathroom items are complete and in their proper place.
Replace bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and bath mat.
Sweep and clean the bathroom floor ensuring it is free of hair, dirt and scuff marks.
Place Kleenex and toilet paper in “T” position.
Ensure that draperies are in the open position with the sheers closed. Make sure blackout shades are adjusted to height and neatly positioned.
Sweep all porches daily and wipe down all patio furniture. Clean outside light and bulb/s and ensure bulbs are in working order.
Make sure coat hangers consist of 5 non-clip wooden hangers, 5 clip wooden hangers and 2 padded hangers. Ensure bathrobes are positioned in the closet with the belt properly looped and tied.
Assist in cleaning the public areas of the Hotel when called upon.
