Clean guestrooms according to standards. This includes stripping bed linens, removing garbage (such as old newspapers, trash, used beverage containers, etc.), making the bed with fresh linen, dusting, vacuuming, straightening furniture, and bedside table/phone/hotel information, etc. Remove any room service or coffee service trays.
Understanding and practicing the safe and proper use and operation of all housekeeping equipment and supplies.

We are seeking a people-focused Cleaner for our 55 and older, active adult community - Affinity at Covington. As the Cleaner, you will be responsible for general housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the community.
Maintain a community culture focused on enhancing our residents' way of life while providing excellent customer service and a supportive home environment.
Build strong rapport with residents of the community.
Clean offices, bathrooms, amenity spaces and common areas daily.

JOB OVERVIEW - HOUSEKEEPER/ROOM ATTENDANT
Some of our guests love being on the road but many travelers miss the comforts of home. The goal of our Housekeeping team is to make our hotel feel like just that, a home! As a Housekeeper, your contribution helps ensure our guests have a comfortable, productive and memorable stay.
A TYPICAL DAY:
Wipe all surfaces, dust and vacuum each guest room adhering to our brand standards.
Change linens, make beds and restock all guest room supplies.
Clean bathrooms, remove trash and carry out green practices as trained by the hotel.
Greet and assist guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
Clean multiple rooms each day.
Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items.
Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous cleaning, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

This position is required to follow NWITC policies, procedures and rules regarding interpersonal boundaries typical of a Department of Health licensed facility and will participate in emergency fire drills as per NWITC policy and procedures. This position requires proficiency in DBT skills and the ability to teach a population that is often resistant to new information. This position interacts with patients and coworkers demonstrating DBT skills to assure necessary information sharing and consistent practice. The Position:
We are seeking a people-focused Cleaner for our 55 and older, active adult community - Affinity at Olympia. As the Cleaner, you will be responsible for general housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the community.
Maintain a community culture focused on enhancing our residents' way of life while providing excellent customer service and a supportive home environment.
Build strong rapport with residents of the community.
Clean offices, bathrooms, amenity spaces and common areas daily.
Clean office spaces on a regular schedule that is set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Using the apartment cleaning checklist, clean vacant apartment homes after each move out.
Clean and organize the pool house. Tasks include straightening of the chairs on the pool deck, cleaning of the pool house public bathrooms (to include showers), and vacuuming and dusting of the amenity spaces attached to the pool house building.
Remove used towels in the pool area and replace them with freshly laundered towels daily.
Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies.
Assist in removing debris from outside public spaces, amenity spaces, and common area, and empty public trash cans.
Clean elevator cab, lobby, and door tracks as regularly scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Comply with all company policies/procedures and Fair Housing laws.
