What We're Looking For Baylor University is seeking the Police Officer position to support the mission and vision of Baylor University within the Department of Public Safety and reporting to one of the Patrol Lieutenants. This position will work closely with the other members of the Baylor PD staff, Baylor faculty and staff, students, guests of Baylor, and external first responders. The position enforces federal and state law and Baylor University policies while patrolling campus. The successful candidate will have the ability to relate to all members of the Baylor community, a desire to help others, the ability to demonstrate good judgment under pressure, and demonstrate integrity in all job duties. All applicants shall possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Preference will be given to candidates with an Associate Degree from an accredited Junior College or 60 college hours from an accredited College or University. This would include, but not be limited to any arrests made, physical confrontations or similar activities. * Draw a file number and write reports on any reported incident.
