You will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the logistics department, ensuring efficient and effective management of the flow of goods, from receipt through to delivery. Schedule: 7AM-7PM 2-2-3 Rotating Cycle Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of logistics staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates. Oversee daily logistics activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and transportation. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of orders and shipments. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to optimize supply chain efficiency. Manage inventory control processes, including regular cycle counts and inventory audits. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, ADA and other governmental regulatory agencies while complying with Company policies concerning health and safety Conduct regular safety training and drills for logistics staff. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting delivery deadlines and maintaining order accuracy. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders or shipments. Collaborate with the customer service team to handle customer inquiries and concerns. Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including shipments, inventory levels, and customer interactions. Prepare and submit reports on logistics performance, including key metrics and improvement initiatives. Ensure all documentation is compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies. Qualifications: Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills required. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills, common sense and logical thought-process. Good communication with associates and management. Minimum 3-5 years distribution center or warehousing experience Minimum 2 years experience leading people and managing high-performing teams Knowledge of materials, warehouse processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods. Responsible for the printing, packaging and distribution of reports, checks and vouchers for delivery to clients. Job Functions: Produce and separate clients' reports, checks and vouchers. Seal checks and validate check counts. Packages clients' paychecks and vouchers along with applicable reports. Sorts packages and logs by applicable delivery service. Confirms successful FedEx, UPS, and courier deliveries. Maintains daily processing schedule and ensures all payrolls scheduled to process are accounted for and sends out end-of-day notification to start ACH processes. Ensures paychecks and vouchers satisfy all quality requirements and, when necessary, initiates corrective actions based on departmental operating procedures. Ordering and quality check of production supplies. Order and distribution of all general office supplies. Ensures adequate supply of checks, toner, envelopes, paper, etc. Maintains and schedules service calls for all production equipment. Reviews / audits vendor billing for delivery services. Qualifications: Must communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbal and written Education: High School Diploma or equivalent General office and / or production experience preferred. Skills & Abilities: Ability to run basic production machinery. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and complete multiple activities in a time-sensitive environment. Effective at giving and receiving feedback. Ability to maintain appropriate levels of confidentially both internal and external to the organization. High level of comprehension and retention. About the role The Warehouse / Kitting Lead is responsible for printing all Kitting jobs in a timely manner so the customers' order can ship when requested. They will also check the kitting time sheets and approve all kitting job costing reports prior to receipt, then close and file the complete jobs after receipt. General Accountabilities include: Provide direct supervision and support to shipping office personnel Ensure compliance with all MRS policies and standard operating procedures Address and resolve issues involving customers, carriers, and drivers Manage Over, Short, and Damaged (OS&D) claims Maintain accurate documentation for accessorial charges Oversee employee performance and administer disciplinary actions as needed Monitor operations to ensure alignment with benchmarking standards Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues Contribute to hiring and staffing decisions through feedback and recommendations Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions held outside of regular hours Take part in incident investigations and reporting processes Provide coverage for other supervisors during scheduled time off Perform additional duties as assigned by management Skills Required: Proficient in basic computer operations and fundamental math skills Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Capable of both following and providing clear, effective instructions Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment Comfortable interacting with and supporting various levels of management Prerequisites: High school diploma or equivalent required Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks Prior leadership experience in a warehouse setting preferred Familiarity with RF-controlled inventory systems Experience handling food products is a plus Benefits and Perks: MRS benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, Flex Spending Account, Dependent Care Flex Spending Account available the 1st of the month following 30 days of hire.
