Lou currently serves on the board of Moore Stephens North America, part of an international association of over 360 independent accounting and consulting firms. Lou also holds board positions with several civic and philanthropic organizations. He is a member of the Nassau County Audit Advisory Committee, as well as a former member of the Nassau County Comptroller's transition team and past chairman of a large not-for-profit human services agency. In addition, Lou serves on the Board of Flushing Financial Corp, BRT Realty, and a mutual insurance company and he is on the Board of Trustees of The New York Institute of Technology.
