this company feels like it's held together behind the scenes with duct tape and a prayer. there's some strange practices that have me raising my eyebrows. for instance, I've been paying out of pocket for an app subscription that is required to do my job for several months with no compensation. the company and the dispensary have no direct lines of communication with each other, so whenever they have issues, I have to act as the middle man which wastes everyone's time and bogs down my work load. the pay rate is barely tolerable and there are no other benefits besides a paycheck.

I know nothing about the CEO and the only "leadership" I know of is driver support which has neglected to respond to my inquiries for almost a month.

some professionalism would be nice. development of an app as opposed to using a mobile web portal to access routes would be ideal, and establishing some sort of direct communication between the dispensaries and Hytiva would also be very beneficial.

I make $14.50 an hour plus tips. according to other dispensary workers I've spoken to, this is less than the average for the industry.

The freedom to drive

Lack of support and professionalism from management. If you're in an emergency situation there's no support. There's no accountability so if they themselves make a mistake they will make employees feel uncomfortable. There is no transparency and you never know who you're talking too. Little pay and little respect for your working hours (for example if you're off work at 7pm and the last order taken is at 6, they will force you to stay until after 7 to deliver to someone without asking). Their turnover rate is worse than anything you can imagine. HR is a nightmare. There are no benefits for full time employees.
