**Purpose of the Role**
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a high visibility role responsible for driving and accelerating the development of a key divisional growth segment. This role calls for a leader who will test, learn and adapt various tactics to accelerate growth of the tetra Grip system.
As a key member of the team, you will work closely with marketing and sales to enable tetra Grip system sales by developing and executing a go-to-market strategy for the category. You will develop sales programs, execute product training and on-site product demonstrations, develop marketing collateral, and inform pricing and promotional strategies.
You will collaborate with sales and marketing team members to identify, pitch, and win new business and will provide post-sale support at customer sites and tradeshows to build end user awareness and drive purchase decisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead segmentation efforts to develop targeted profiles for the builder end user base.
+ Champion the tetra Grip strategy and go-to-market initiatives. Lead the execution of go-to-market strategies and promotions.
+ Influence the sales organization to drive the tetra Grip strategy through regular sales, customer and end user trainings.
+ Collaborate with marketing/agency to create and maintain collateral critical to simplifying the sales process
+ Support sales/marketing teams by representing Paslode at customer pitches, tradeshows, and other events
+ Develop a relationship with end users in target markets via Pro Events, trade shows, and other associations to further test and validate effective sales tactics.
+ Collaborate with the product team to develop/execute targeted growth strategies
+ Own/Deliver annual plan targets for tetra Grip sales growth
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in sales, marketing, or comparable discipline
+ 5+ years of sales and/or product management experience
+ Presentation skills and comfort pitching/presenting to Customers/End Users
+ Proven success testing, learning, and adapting various tactics to deliver sales growth
+ Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
+ Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams
+ Ability to travel approximately 50%. There will be overnights for customer events, trade shows, and visits to job site locations.

Owns the Kroger General Office relationship across the Kraft Heinz Coffee and Pasta Sauce portfolio, ensuring joint winning plans to be an indispensable partner.

Effectively partner with the customer, building rapport at all levels to fully understand their business, the marketplace, and affect positive business growth
Achieve New Item Authorization goals, Distribution goals, & Base Business Objectives: Revenue and Share Growth, Authorizations, Distribution, Optimal Shelving
Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, Drive Period & Selling Event while effectively implementing Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for owned categories
Develops, tracks, analyzes, evaluates business plans while leveraging cross-functional support via Business Unit/HQ, customer strategies/initiatives and external factors
Drive efficient and effective trade programs to deliver the best value and administers volume and trade promotion spending levels within budget while handling trade dollars as percent of revenue for maximum results
Applies insight information (IRI, Stratum, M6), both internal and external, to build total customer profits and plans
Communicates and influences implementation of business plans to enable superior execution across key team members
Drives the Kraft Heinz winning culture both within the office, as well as, within their respective responsibilities.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
Proven & tested experience in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management
Strong sales background with excellent understanding of business processes (forecasting, promo planning, trade management, multi-year strategy development)
Proven skills embodying a customer-first mentality for effective customer management and selling to achieve objectives
Trusted to work autonomously within a sales framework to plan, organize and set/achieve priorities
Clear examples of exhibiting polished interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with potential to negotiate and influence effectively
Tested proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and proprietary Sales systems such as IRI, Spark, etc
Clear examples of exhibiting strong analytical skills; Has the ability & experience using syndicated and/or ambiguous data to develop comprehensive business plans by analyzing category and brand performance and influences customer to achieve category objectives.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$102,100.00 - $127,600.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors

Work with Retail Team to effectively manage retail execution of all assigned category objectives
Maintain files and business documentation to thoroughly detail business transactions
Expected Experience & Required Skills
Proven & tested experience in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management for a CPG company.
Tested ability to own business process and Category management through a complex Sales position with direct customer selling experience
Ability to simplify the complex, crafting robust sales stories that influence the customer to act
Proficient in time management, as team member will work across numerous business priorities and category managers at the same time.
Strong cross functional collaboration with category leadership, analytics, finance, and supply chain
Proven skills embodying a customer-first mentality for effective customer management and selling to achieve objectives
Trusted to work autonomously within a CBT framework to plan, organize and set/achieve priorities
