Both skills would pay off when he decided to make a go of it with the dielectric parts in 1966.

1971

1971 - 74 Moved to present location that was expanded to 99,000 square feet of floor space and adjacent land was acquired for future growth.

1987

1987-89 Acquired the Fabricating Division from Norplex/Oak.

1991

1991-99 John, Tom and Jay Merrell continue growing the ­­company through sales and acquisitions.

2003

By the time the two companies merged in 2003, the product lines had expanded to include epoxy, phenolic, melamine, silicone and other thermoset resins in sheet, tube, rod, and molded shape forms.

2013

2013-14 Construction of the new corporate headquarters and the expansion of the SMC and BMC manufacturing facilities in Noblesville completed.

2015

The addition of ferrous metals as materials it could handle came in 2015 when the company purchased Centerline Machine in Waupaca, Wis.
