Larry Hurtado joined Digital Defense as CEO in August of 2002. With over two decades of networking and security experience, he has been at the helm of Digital Defenses movement from a regional niche player to an industry leader with established global presence. Prior to Digital Defense, Larry was Co-Founder and President of International Operations for Elastic Networks, Incorporated. At Elastic Networks, he was responsible introducing EtherLoop DSL products, overall business growth, financing, an IPO, and the acquisition of the company by Paradyne Corporation. Prior to Elastic Networks, Hurtado held senior management positions at Nortel Networks, including VP of Business Line Management in Nortel Networks’ Access Networks Division. Hurtado holds a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

My career has involved operational, transactional, principal investment, and advisory roles with healthcare and technology companies. I am an active investor and I get involved materially with portfolio companies pre and post investment. I currently serve as a General Partner at Hawthorne Capital Management, Inc. and am currently a Board Director & Executive Chairman at Izenda, Inc., ChartRequest, and CleanData, LLC. I'm currently an Advisor to Blueprint Health, LLC and is also the Founder & Co-Chair of the Atlanta Health 2.0 Chapter. I previously supported the Board/Management of Accelarad, Inc. (acquired by Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:NUAN)) of CardioMEMS (acquired by St. Jude Medical (NYSE:STJ)), Fidelis SeniorCare (acquired by Centene (NYSE: CNC), Prenova (acquired by Ecova), and Navini Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO)). I was the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of WisePatient (acquired by Sharecare, Inc. in 2012), a SaaS-based patient access & care coordination platform connecting patients and providers online. Before founding WisePatient, I was a Senior Associate at Merrick Ventures, a healthcare and information technology focused venture capital firm led by Michael Ferro in Chicago, IL. While at Merrick Ventures, I supported the corporate development function of Merge Healthcare (NASDAQ:MRGE acquired by NASDAQ:IBM) focusing on mergers & acquisitions and post-merger integration. Prior to joining Merrick Ventures, I was an Associate at Arcapita Ventures, the growth stage venture capital arm of Arcapita, Inc., evaluating healthcare and information technology related investment opportunities. Prior to Arcapita, I worked in Accenture’s Health and Life Sciences Strategy Practice where he specialized in operational and information technology strategy for integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers, and health plans.

Jeremy Friedman was Co-Founder and CEO of Schoology, the nation’s leading K-12 learning management and assessment platform. Jeremy co-founded Schoology alongside Bill Kindler, Ryan Hwang, and Tim Trinidad while earning his BA in Economics at Washington University in St. Louis. Jeremy believes that education technology should improve the learning experience and enable educators in K-12 schools and districts to achieve their own vision of successful personalized learning. Today, Jeremy focuses on managing Schoology's product growth strategy within PowerSchool. He works closely with customers to understand requirements and opportunities for innovation, guiding Schoology’s product vision to ensure that users and customers are able to continue advancing what is possible in education.

Lingping Gao is a Founder, CEO & Chairman at NETBRAIN TECHNOLOGIES INC and is based in Boston, Massachusetts. He has worked as CAD Engineer at EcoAir and Network Engineer / Chief Network Architect at Thomson Reuters. Lingping attended Yale between 1993 and 1995 and Tsinghua University between 1988 and 1993.

Mark Logan serves as LogRhythm’s Chief Executive Officer. With over 25 years of industry experience in enterprise software, Mr. Logan brings a track record of operational excellence to LogRhythm. His professional accomplishments include leading both Rivermine and Emptoris through their exits, with IBM purchasing the latter for over $500 million. Prior to joining LogRhythm, Mr. Logan was president of Attunity (formerly NASDAQ: ATTU), a leading provider of data integration and big data management software solutions and a division of Qlik. He also previously served in executive roles as CEO of WealthEngine, CEO of Rivermine, and COO of Emptoris. Mr. Logan began his career holding a variety of positions at Hewlett Packard, JD Edwards, and Peoplesoft. He has a B.S. degree in Engineering and Business Management from Providence College.
