Izzi Early Education company history timeline
Izzi was founded in 1983, originally as the Institute for Human and Social Development (IHSD). Since inception, the organization has provided comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income families throughout San Mateo County, via Head Start and Early Head Start.

In 1999, the organization also became a subcontractor for the State Preschool Program, a part-day comprehensive child development program for preschool-aged children.
