Responsibilities Position SummaryThe Inflight InstructionalDesign Specialist impacts PSA Airlines' operations by supporting the design and development of the Flight Attendant learning experience. The goal is to prepare each crewmember to support PSA's mission and to provide value to our customers. This individual will support the creation of effective learning solutions and the production of detailed designs to increase the operational readiness and safety effectiveness of our crewmembers. Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Manager of Inflight Learning Design and subject matter experts (SME) to support the identification, creation, and implementation of effective learning solutions.
Collaborate and support the delivery of regulatory content and learning methods in an innovative manner.
Support the development, implementation, and revision of Flight Attendant training curriculums.
Collaborate with the Manager of Inflight Standards and Delivery to ensure consistent application of training curriculum content based on regulations and the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM).
Support practices, processes, and technologies to streamline, improve, and ensure the cost-effectiveness of our learning projects and programs.
Research and report information that is vital to the continual development and improvement of training courseware and instructional techniques.
Support Air Transportation Ground Instructor (ATGI) Train the Trainer instruction for all applicable training programs.
Provide technical support and/or direction associated with maintaining courses in the Learning Management System (LMS).
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.

Position Specifics Qualifications Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) or more years as a classroom instructor or instructional development experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. Code of Federal Regulations [CFRs], TSRs, 8900.1, etc.), company policies, and procedures.
Good communication skills (written and oral).
Computer literacy and strong Microsoft office skills.
Ability to speak/read/write in English.
If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
Previous Flight Attendant experience.
Advanced degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Systems Design, or Instructional Technology.

Tech Academy teaches week-long technology classes. We offer Minecraft, Movie Making, Video Game Design, Legos, and Robotics classes for students ages 6-14.
Ideal applicants for Teacher positions are college students/graduates with experience with elementary-age children or licensed teachers. Ideal applicants for Assistant positions are tech-savvy college students or those qualified for the Lead Teacher position looking for a more relaxed role in the classroom. Many of our past employees were able to use our positions to satisfy internship requirements.
Classes run in-person at North Ridge Elementary School and Chavis Community Center, Monday-Friday, and you will need to be available from 8 am to 5 pm from June 16th to August 15th. .

The STEM Instructional Specialist (Secondary) supports real-world, cross-disciplinary STEM integration for grades 6-12. Essential Duties

Supports teachers in using data to plan targeted interventions and monitor instructional outcomes.

Designs and delivers professional learning for teachers focused on STEM pedagogy, technology integration, and curriculum alignment.
Maintains coaching logs, schedules, and outcome data to inform and improve practice.
Provides leadership and coordination for the division's competitive robotics program, including managing teams, events, coaches, and equipment.
Builds and maintains industry partnerships to support robotics and expand student opportunities.
Contributes to the design and implementation of STEM magnet and speciality programs and Virginia High School League-aligned robotics at the high school level.
Develops and implements summer STEM/STEAM programming through curriculum support and in-class instructional coaching.
Promotes real-world, project-based STEM instruction that drives innovation, problem-solving, and career readiness, while modeling ethical technology use and digital citizenship.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required)
Must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree and be eligible for a Virginia teaching license. Experience as a lead teacher, department chair, or in another instructional leadership role is required.
Candidates should demonstrate strong instructional coaching and facilitation skills; deep knowledge of STEM content, instructional practices, and curriculum design; and excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. Proficiency with digital tools such as Canva and Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Forms) is required. Preferred qualifications include certification in educational technology (e.g., ISTE or Google Certified Educator), familiarity with entry-level coding platforms (e.g., Scratch, Code.org, Tynker), and working knowledge of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) in educational settings.
