Job Responsibilities

The Adjunct Nursing Instructor performs the following functions (four vacancies):
Making and posting clinical assignments for students prior to clinical practicum day.

Volunteers: Collaborate with LEARN Works instructor partner in establishing a relationship with volunteers assigned to classroom, effectively use volunteers assigned to your classroom by incorporating them in your whole group instruction and placing them with small groups or pairs of students as appropriate, guide the work of volunteers by providing them with direction and encourage input during daily briefings and debriefings, monitor relationships between volunteers and students, and provide supervision of volunteers and feedback to volunteers. Participate in volunteer appreciation events.
School teachers: Collaborate with LEARN Works instructor partner to communicate with your students' schoolteachers. Make schoolteachers aware when students exit the LEARN Works program.
