Job Description:
The Department of English at The University of Florida invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position to teach in the BA track and MFA program in the field of creative writing, fiction specialization, effective August 16, 2026. The normal teaching assignment is two courses per semester.
The successful candidate will be expected to 1) maintain an active writing and publication career, 2) teach four courses per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate level, and mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students, 3) contribute service to the Department, the university, and the profession. Department service includes help with MFA program coordination (e.g. events planning, admissions, student mentoring, curriculum oversight) and engagement with Departmental committees and processes.

Clinical. The candidate would join a robust multidisciplinary team of physicians including fellowship-trained urologic oncologists and pediatric urologists. Job Description:
The Department of Clinical and Health Psychology (CHP) within the College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida is recruiting for a faculty position in clinical health psychology. Depending upon experience, there may be an opportunity to serve as assistant director/director of the psychology transplant team. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month tenure track or non-tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. We welcome senior and junior faculty applications. The Department has a mentoring program designed to assist junior faculty in their professional identity and development.
The primary assignment for this position will be inpatient and outpatient adult solid organ transplantation (e.g., liver, heart, and/or lung,), including pre & post-transplant assessments, clinical follow-up, team consultation, program development, intervention and participation in Solid Organ Medical Review Board meetings, as well as supervision of trainees. Job Description:
The Department of PSYCHOLOGY at the UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-accruing Assistant Professor in the field of Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. The specific area of research is open but should focus on neuroscience research that complements and expands existing strengths in the department and the university at large, including perception/attention, substance use, decision-making, stress/emotion, and neurodegenerative disorders, in any model system (humans or animals). Applicants should have an outstanding record of research achievement and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate instruction in psychology and neuroscience. The successful candidate will be expected to (1) maintain a program of research with high potential for external funding, (2) teach graduate and undergraduate courses in neuroscience, (3) mentor students, and (4) provide service to the institution and academy.
The Psychology Department offers doctoral programs in behavioral and cognitive neuroscience, behavior analysis, counseling psychology, developmental psychology, and social psychology. We currently have 43 full-time faculty, ~ 100 PhD students, and > 2,000 undergraduate majors.
