    Job DescriptionPosition Objectives: NATURE OF WORK Under general supervision, monitors inmate activities to provide safety and security for all Franklin County Adult Detention Center inmates and visitors; assists inmates with medical needs; provides inmates transportation for courts and other detention facilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position-specific duties. Processes inmate into the detention facility; updates and maintains inmate records and documents. 1. Operates doors, cameras, and alarms from the control center. 2. Escorts inmates to court; transports inmates to other facilities as required. 3. Searches inmates and facilities for contraband; receives, inspects, and processes inmate mail and removes contraband as necessary. 4. Conducts and oversees inmate visitation. 5. Distributes meals and medications to inmates; supervises meals. 6. Maintains accurate chronological reports. 7. Enforces laws governed by the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri and upholds the U.S.Constitution. 8. Provides emergency assistance and responds to dispatched calls for service. 9. De-escalates potentially violent situations; applies reasonable physical force when intervening in conflicts. 10. Protects crime scenes; gathers information, conducts interviews and interrogations; completesinvestigations and follow-ups. 11. Serves arrest warrants and other civil documents; enforces protection orders. 12. Conducts search and seizures; protects and collects evidence; makes arrests and transports prisoners. 13. Writes and reviews reports; prepares warrant applications; prepares documents for court appearances. 14. Provides credible testimony under oath in court. 15. Operates a vehicle in all weather conditions. 16. Uses radio for transmitting and receiving communications. 17. Participates in maintaining office vehicles and equipment. 18. Maintains mandated training requirements of the state and sheriff's office. 19. Maintains physical fitness level necessary to complete assigned duties. 20. Maintains positive community and interpersonal relations. 21. Performs other duties as assigned. WORKING ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is performed in the detention center and in the field; working environment may require strenuous physical efforts and exposure to dangerous persons, situations, tools, and equipment. Exposure to extreme weather conditions is possible. Working shift is flexible, during days, evenings, and nights; rotating shifts including weekends and holidays as scheduled. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Must possess a valid Missouri driver license; Must be a Missouri resident; must successfully complete corrections certification through detention officer training; additional training and/or other specialized certifications may be required. While many GEOINT Deployer rotations support overseas missions, they also support CONUS-based operations driven by NORTHCOM requirements, domestic contingency response, and major national-level events. These can include support to natural disasters, large-venue security events, and special national security events, as well as missions in Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories. 4 months per year is an aggregate average for deployments, not necessarily a single continuous rotation. Some deployments may be consecutive, while others are shorter rotations spread throughout the year depending on mission demand and customer requirements. The target salary range is a base of $87,500 to $92,500, however, in practice with deployment shift differentials and extra hours, Deployers full annual compensation is somewhere between $120-130K. Skills and Experience: 5+ years of experience with geospatial analysis and presenting results in the form of data sets, visualization, and models for inclusion in standard and formalized intelligence analysis products. The Geospatial Analysts for the Airfield Foundation Data program will extract specific feature data in accordance with the customer's data and product specifications, including VO collection within the defined areas around AFD collections. Activities involve feature extraction (airfield infrastructure), feature analysis, feature validations, data entry, database scripting, quality control/assurance and product finishing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Knowledge and understanding of airfield infrastructure such as taxiways, runways, navigational aids, ATC tower, and hangers, to create AFD products * Update and debug Python scripting from older languages such as VBA for AFD product finishing * Knowledge of Python, VBA, Sybase, Oracle, Oracle Spatial, PostgreSQL/PostGIS to run scripts for AFD product finishing * Work within, manipulate, and interact with Geospatial Database, SQL, Store Procedures, and Triggers * Use ESRI ArcGIS-feature collection, feature validation, and finishing * Extract features from imagery sources * Use data entry, Microsoft Access database and Excel spreadsheets for metrics support Basic Qualifications * Minimum 5 years of GEOINT experience with the below years being a part of the experience calculation * GEOINT Education/Training in lieu of experience: * Associate's degree can be substituted for 2 years. * Bachelor's degree can be substituted for 3 years of experience. * Master's degree can be substituted for 2 years. * PhD can be substituted for 3 years. * Professional certifications can account for 0.5 years. * Basic knowledge and understanding of airfield infrastructures such as taxiways, runways, navigational aids, ATC tower, and hangars, to create AFD products. * 1 years of feature collection (points, lines, and areas), feature validation and finishing. Preferred Qualifications * Understanding of basic geospatial principles such as coordinate systems (horizontal and vertical), elevation models, and accuracy values. * Knowledge of imagery, products, processes, and sensors. * Knowledge of and experience with understanding, reading, and writing XML.
