Reporting to our QEHS Manager, we are seeking a highly experienced EHS Officer to ensure compliance and continuous improvement with our environmental, health and safety systems, ensuring compliance with all US regulations. This role focuses on risk assessment, incident prevention and fostering a strong safety culture across all operations, inclusive of our manufacturing facility and site installation programs for our data-centre clients. The ideal candidate will be a pro-active person with significant hands-on experience in implementing and validating EHS systems and validating regulatory compliance. This role is critical in scaling our US operations, enhancing and ensuring world-class EHS performance on behalf of our customers.
What You'll Be Doing:
Compliance & Regulatory Management:
· Ensure adherence to local and international EHS regulations, standards, and company policies.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation relevant to electrical switchgear assembly and testing.
· Manage and validate our internal system documentation is in an audit-ready state at all times.
· In conjunction with our QEHS Manager, participate in customer / regulatory audits as schedule dictates.
· Utilize a hands-on, collaborative leadership style to your peers, always leading by example.
· Ensure all personnel are aware of their responsibilities with respect to OSHA 1970 regulations.
Risk Assessment & Hazard Control:
· Conduct regular risk assessments for our office and assembly environments, testing and site installations.
· Implement robust controls / training for electrical testing, arc-flash hazards and general assembly risks.
Incident Management & Reporting:
· Investigate accidents, near-misses and unsafe conditions, implementing corrective and preventive actions as required.
· Provide accurate, timely and consistent department reports, identifying clear escalation paths / solutions.
· Co-ordinate with your Irish counterpart to align / standardize processes to develop a ‘One CEL' approach.
· Maintain accurate KPIs and records, preparing internal / external reports as required.
Training & Awareness:
· Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the organization.
· Deliver EHS training programs for employees, focusing on electrical safety, PPE usage, and emergency response.
· Promote a proactive safety culture through toolbox talks and awareness campaigns.
· Keep abreast of the developments in regulatory standards, ensuring internal systems are kept up to date.
Environmental Management:
· Monitor waste disposal, recycling and emissions compliance.
· Support sustainability initiatives and ISO 14001/45001 certification processes.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
· Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
· Professional certifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) preferred.
· 5+ years EHS experience in electrical, automotive, aerospace or medical devices industries.
· Strong knowledge of OSHA 1970, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001standards.
· Familiarity with general assembly processes and associated hazards.

About the Position
As an integral part of the Regional Philanthropy team at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, the Regional Philanthropy Officer will primarily be responsible for contacting major gift prospects for qualification to move them through the discovery pipeline over the next several years. The role will also be responsible for renewing and upgrading existing donors at the leadership levels of the CW Fund ($5k+), while encouraging these donors to make a major or planned gift in support of the mission and priorities of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Reporting to the Executive Director of Regional Philanthropy, the Regional Philanthropy Officer will work closely with other members of the team, colleagues across Development, and internal partners throughout the Foundation to meet and exceed goals. The Regional Philanthropy Officer will be expected to develop a robust major gift portfolio by the end of year two of the incumbent's tenure in the position.
Essential Functions:
• Works collaboratively to qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and prospects capable of making philanthropic gifts and multi-year commitments at the leadership annual fund and major gift level to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
• Conducts qualification visits via in-person and remote channels for a bi-annually rotating list of assigned identified prospects.
• Manages a portfolio of approximately 90-120 leadership annual fund donors and major gift/planned giving prospects and implements donor-centric development strategies designed to engage leadership annual fund and major gift prospects, many of whom have multiple philanthropic interests across the Foundation.
• Conducts a high number of quality engagement interactions through personal visits requiring travel to the region, telephone and virtual qualification and solicitations.
• Coordinates customized written proposals to obtain and/or increase major gift contributions, as needed.
• Connects donors' philanthropic interests to the Foundation's priorities and solicits for unrestricted, restricted, and planned gifts in support of the Foundation.
• Achieves and exceeds annual dollar, qualification, proposal, and donor visit goals established in consultation with the Associate Vice President of Development.
• Works closely with the Prospect Development team to identify new major donor prospects using data driven decision making and helps develop individual strategies to engage and cultivate them for new gifts.
• Researches and writes briefings to prepare colleagues, including leadership, for effective meetings with donors and prospects.
• Directs follow-up correspondences and objectives resulting from donor meetings.
• Documents all development activity in the CRM in a timely manner to maintain accurate prospect records and contact reports to facilitate repeated donations and establish gift histories.
• Establishes and maintains productive working relations with donors, potential donors, and colleagues across the Development team and the Foundation.
• Prepares comprehensive short- and long-range activity plans, including plans for travel and proposals for strategic events, in pursuit of the annual goals.
• Participates in and assists, as needed, in supporting and managing as assigned, the annual meetings of the special donor societies, and campaign events.
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of previous professional experience in fundraising, customer service, or sales environments working directly with people for engagement.
• Must have the ability to drive given that this role requires travel 25 - 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated success in fundraising, including face-to-face donor stewardship and solicitation, in a non-profit setting.
• Experience with fundraising software systems or CRMs.

After law enforcement leaves a call due to a lack of probable cause to arrest, the Resilience Officer will come in and offer resources, including counseling, anger management, and domestic violence support. Many vital Resource Providers will not provide services in the home without a deputy escort. This officer will do escorts to bring resources into the homes of those in need.

About the Position
As an integral part of the Regional Philanthropy team at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, the Regional Philanthropy Officer will primarily be responsible for contacting major gift prospects for qualification to move them through the discovery pipeline over the next several years. The role will also be responsible for renewing and upgrading existing donors at the leadership levels of the CW Fund ($5k+), while encouraging these donors to make a major or planned gift in support of the mission and priorities of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Essential Functions:

Job Duties
$3,000 split payment, $1,000 payable within 30 days of hire and $2,000 payable after successful completion of employee probationary period and completion of a new tenure agreement.
Corrections officers contribute to the public safety mission by providing for the safety and security of the public, staff, and inmates by ensuring effective and safe custody and control along with compliance with policy and procedure. Successfully accomplished through the use of evidence-based practices and principles that enhance effective communication strategies and role modeling as part of collaborative multi-disciplinary teams addressing inmate needs. Officers provide security over adult inmates at the institution and while in transport; supervise the daily activities of inmates while observing and recording their behavior and movement to ensure their safe and secure confinement.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or a GED equivalent. Valid Driver's License. Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend workplace policies and procedures and to prepare workplace reports and documentation. Ability to lawfully possess a firearm in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment requirements which include medical screening, background check and drug testing to include screening for marijuana use.
Additional Considerations
Stable employment history, military or related criminal justice experience. Prefer individuals at least 21 years old (a waiver may be provided by the Unit Head for individuals 18-20 years old). Bi-lingual and Multi-lingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
