The National Communications Manager supports the Operations Lead in developing and executing communication strategies, including website and public relations, to clearly articulate IFI's mission. This role ensures effective communication with international students and scholars, volunteers, donors, staff, and partnering churches, while collaborating with leadership on strategic initiatives.
Expected work schedule for the Communications Manager:
Full- or part-time, flexible schedule

Pay structure for a Communications Manager:

Communications Manager Responsibilities:
Research and develop social media strategies to be used by IFI ministry locations nationwide
Plan, film and edit videos, as well as work with video production companies, to vividly express IFI's ministry to volunteers, donors and international students
Design print and online graphics for IFI collateral including, but not limited to, newsletters,
brochures, videos and IFI's websites
Manage other communications staff and any interns to help them excel in their work and meet deadlines and requirements
Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role, ensure minimum monetary standards are achieved, and send out a ministry newsletter at least every other month to partners
Qualifications/expectations of the Communications Manager:

Ability to communicate with diverse populations from different ethnic backgrounds

Communications Manager Required Education/Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor degree
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in online media, graphic design, video production, and copywriting
At least 1 year of experience supervising work of others
Proficient use of apps, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Audition & Canva
Experience with web programming, IT troubleshooting, blogging/copywriting, and Wordpress (preferred)
Experience in cross-cultural ministry (preferred)

Responsibilities of a Development Catalyst
The overall role of the Development Catalyst is to develop, communicate, and execute a fundraising strategy for the Central Ohio ministry location of International Friendships (IFI). This position is part of the Central Ohio ministry team and requires the candidate to live in or near Columbus, OH.
The Development Catalyst will (list not all inclusive):
Assist the location to develop a culture of generosity and transformational giving based on Biblical values by:
Helping people progress through the giving continuum: potential donor → one-time donor → recurring donor → increasing donor → major donor
Assembling and leading a development team to strategize and communicate fundraising opportunities with others
Creating and executing digital venue strategy
Managing and overseeing the event staff and volunteers to plan and execute the annual banquet and other fundraising events
Mobilizing current IFI staff and volunteers to share Central Ohio opportunities with their own networks
Implementing multiple strategies as part of the fundraising plan, such as matching fund, sponsorship, planned giving, grants, and meeting face-to-face with individual donors
Strongly encouraging involvement in at least two local student events each year and to be matched with an international friend for conversation or to host students for at least one holiday meal a year
Ensure donor data and communications are accurately maintained in database and provide detailed reports to Area Director on development activities and progress on initiatives
Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for budgeted needs of the role by sharing the vision of the ministry, ensuring minimum monetary standards are achieved, partner care, and sending out a ministry newsletter at least every other month to partners

The overall role of the Content Specialist is to assist the local IFI Columbus team in capturing, editing and publishing stories and articles via video, photographs, and interviews that engage and provide value to our main constituents. Compile notes from interviews into written articles.

Create video scripts, edit video and take and edit photographs at events
Search for high value content by reading IFI MPD e-newsletters, attending presentations and other meetings, reading meeting notes and more
Suggest content that should be shared, determining the appropriate medium and audience
Format content for publication on e-newsletters, letters, text messages, social media and more

About the Area and Responsibilities of a Hammond Ministry Leader
Purdue Northwest is a Regional campus of Purdue University. Students come from all over the world to study at this campus because of Purdue's reputation and it is close to Chicago. Students live in the university apartments or nearby houses, but since the campus is 90% commuter, they don't have many chances to meet local Americans or even other students. There is already a strong network of volunteers and churches who just need the right person to lead and serve students at Purdue Northwest. This position is part of the Hammond ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.
As a Hammond Ministry Leader, you will establish a presence by building relationships with university staff, church partners, and volunteers. Your responsibilities include leading the location's ministry efforts, mobilizing others to host Bible discussion groups, and organizing cultural events. You will also ensure that IFI is recognized as a student organization, maintain strong campus relationships, and secure the necessary financial and prayer support.
Qualifications Needed from the Hammond Ministry Leader, including Spiritual Characteristics
Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
Faithful in evangelism and hospitality to international students as well as discipling believers to do the same
Well organized, takes initiative, able to work independently or collaboratively
Flexible and adaptable
Proficient with technology necessary to the ministry, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
Education/Experience for a Hammond Ministry Leader
Demonstrated experience mobilizing, training, and ministering to people required
Bachelor degree
Experience in cross-cultural ministry, preferred

Work Schedule:

Pay Structure:

Pay range typically $25,709 - $80,000 post-support development, based on experience and other factors.

Responsibilities:
New York City is the largest city in the United States and educates over 60,000 international students. Half of all of the international students study at Columbia University, an Ivy League school, and NYU. Many of these students will return to their home county to take on a position of leadership, which makes NYC a very strategic place for ministry. New York City Campus Ministers are currently needed in the boroughs of the Bronx and Queens.
As a Campus Minister, you will:
Engage in IFI events and Bible discussion groups, fostering genuine friendships while sharing about Jesus with international students.
Recruit and mentor American and international volunteers to serve on a campus ministry team.
Participate in regular mentorship with supervisors, seeking guidance and setting ministry goals.
Study the cultural worldviews of the international students you serve to better understand their needs.
Qualifications:

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Strong interpersonal skills and enjoys working with people.
Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications.
Education/Experience:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum one-year involvement in campus ministry or completion of IFI ISEED Program.
