    Practice Ham Lake Veterinary Hospital practices Preventive Medicine, General Medicine, and General Surgery. We have digital radiography, a full in-house lab, and reference laboratory availability for sending out more involved testing. We love serving the Ham Lake/East Bethel area and find our country setting quiet and relaxing. Our hospital began in 2005 and since then has grown to employ an over 20 person team of veterinarians, technicians, and receptionists. Position Purpose Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
