ISPE company history timeline
In May 1991, the Chapter held its first meeting, an FDA presentation, with approximately with 60 people attending.
Developed the first Chapter Handbook in 1993, which remains the prototype for all ISPE Chapter and Affiliate Handbooks.
1996 – On the 4th of July ISPE becomes a joint stock company by breaking of from RENEL
In 1997, the Carolinas Chapter absorbed the Southeast Chapter (Georgia, Alabama, and Florida), which had become inactive.
1999 – ISPE celebrates 50 years of activity, event that gathered over 700 participants
2001 – ISPE changes its marketing strategy approaching new business areas: environment, infrastructure and consultancy activities development
In 2004, the Chapter added Tennessee to its membership base and geographical territory.
2006 – Romelectro, environmental oriented project developer, investor and general contractor becomes ISPE main shareholder
