THE POSITION
Victim Advocate I is the entry-level class in this series. Incumbents work under close supervision while learning program rules, regulations, procedures, and forms. Responsibilities and breadth of knowledge increase with more years of experience.
Victim Advocate II is the journey-level class in this series. Victim Advocate II is the experienced level classification. Incumbents are expected to perform the full range of duties, including the assignment of more difficult or complex cases. Incumbents generally work under minimal supervision and exercise initiative and independent judgment in applying laws, rules, and regulations, and in analyzing and resolving a variety of non-routine problems. The Victim Advocate may be assigned to work in a variety of assignments. Hours for the position may vary and include weekends. Incumbents may be subject to overtime, standby and on-call or call-back assignments.
Individuals who are in a full-time classification position are required to serve a twelve-month probationary period, which may be extended an additional six months, for a total of eighteen months.

* Conduct trauma-informed interviews and assessments for victims of crime in the office and in non-office settings, including crime scenes, hospitals, victims' homes, law enforcement agencies or other organizations to assess victim's emotional, social, and physical needs, interests, safety concerns and anticipated obstacles;
* Help identify services, coping skills and resources needed;
* Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed assistance to child and adult victims of crime and/or families of victims of crime suffering from trauma or complex trauma by asking good questions, listening to what they need, helping them understand the effects of trauma and empower them to take the next best step;

* Organize caseload to ensure case records and documents are processed within specific time limits established by regulation and policy, as defined by the California Penal Code, California Office of Emergency Services, and Victims of Crime Act;

What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years of experience in an IT systems administration role supporting complex environments with 2+ of those years at a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or in an IT consulting role supporting multiple client environments.
* Demonstrated success deploying and managing Azure/Microsoft 365 (Business Premium, E3, or E5), including licensing, configuration, and integrations.
* Strong proficiency in Intune/Endpoint Manager, Windows Autopilot, and mobile/BYOD device management.
* Effectively manage Active Directory, Group Policy, RBAC, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
* Experience with VMware vSphere and virtualized infrastructure, including storage and networking.
* Ability to modify VLANs, firewall configurations, VPNs, and routing.
* Manage backups and disaster recovery environment
* Experience supporting complex environments, with a strong track record to simplify, automate, and standardize.
* Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical decisions and tradeoffs.

* Leverage established partner relationships and vendor agreements to secure optimal availability, rates, and additional perks.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in luxury travel planning or related field, with a proven track record of serving high net worth clientele.
* Proficiency in a Global Distribution System (GDS) such as Sabre.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other CRM technology (Monday.com), with the ability to adapt as needed.
* Possess extensive worldwide travel experience, enabling a deep, personal understanding of diverse cultures, destinations, and customs to deliver bespoke, culturally rich travel experiences that align with the unique lifestyles and preferences of our esteemed members.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
* Efficiently manage tasks, adhere to deadlines, and make informed decisions, maintaining clear communication even in high-pressure situations.

Work Schedules
Weather, snow conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Bear Valley employees.
When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods - especially the holiday periods in December and the months of January and February - you may be expected to work six (6) days a week.
You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snowpacked, and icy road.
Working Conditions
At any time during the ski season, Bear Valley employees are often required to perform their tasks in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extremely cold or warm temperatures.
Uniforms
A professional appearance at Bear Valley is required. Please wear your name tag and uniform at all times during your scheduled shift. We will provide most of the uniform for you to do your job. This uniform is for work hours ONLY, no exceptions.
You will be required to provide some items as part of your job.
The quality, color, and style of the items must be approved by your manager prior to being worn to work. All hats worn must have the Bear Valley logo while on shift.
The skiing/riding employee represents a model for safe skiing for both the guest and fellow employees. You are required to be aware of all safe skiing procedures, trail closures, and out-of-bounds policies of the mountain.
