STS Systems Defense, LLC (SSD) is a government consulting and contracting firm supporting federal agencies and military installations across the U.S. We are seeking an Incident Response Officer (Intermediate) to support our mission at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.
What You'll Do:
Upon identification of suspicious activity on AF networks, open network intrusion investigation(s) to validate the unauthorized activity and determine the type and extent of activity.
Participate and contribute to lessons learned meetings and briefings.
When CAT events are escalated to incident response, complete incident response process, including: preparation, identification and scoping, containment, eradication and remediation, recovery, and lessons learned.
Upon identification of suspicious activity on AF networks, open network intrusion investigation(s) to validate the unauthorized activity and determine the type and extent of activity.
Provide AF Office of Special Investigations (OSI) DCO technical support to law enforcement and counter‐intelligence agencies and activities if required.
Support planned and same‐day Incident Response deployments.
Comply with 3rd party MOU/MOA monitoring and reporting requirements. Analyze host DCO events to determine the necessity for higher level analysis and conduct an initial assessment of type and extent of intruder activities. (CDRL A002)
Conduct cyber investigations in order to determine the initial vector and overall timeline of intrusion, accurately identify the threat, determine the full scope of impact, and develop containment and remediation actions for approval.
Author and review incident report forms (IRF) for security incidents within JEMS. Ensure the document is accurate and provides the correct amount of technical detail needed. (CDRL A008)
Provide AF Office of Special Investigations (OSI) DCO technical support to law enforcement and counter‐intelligence agencies and activities if required.
Generate end of mission reports (MISREPS) and provide pass‐on information for knowledge transfer to subsequent /crews of analysts on duty regarding the latest suspicious traffic seen from a given port, Internet Protocol (IP), etc. with no more than a 5% error rate.

Initiate emergency checklists due to imminent threat, as directed by Crew Commander. Call emergency responders (Security Forces/Fire Department etc.) if needed via 911. The Crew Commander is responsible for all official reporting.
Inform Crew Commander for all anomalies to include, but not limited to: utility outages, flooding, sick/missing members, or any other irregularity with the potential to adversely impact the mission.
Participate in planning, briefing, and debriefing tasks as directed by CDO Mission Lead or Crew Commander.
Provide feedback on detection mechanisms that are both true and false positive events to ESM and Content Development as applicable.
When assigned as CDO Mission Lead, assign tasks to CDOs as prioritized by the Crew Commander, accounting for all required mission systems and functions.
Design incident response plans (IRP) as directed by the Crew Commander. Ensure CDOs are briefed on objectives, ROEs, plans, contingencies, and applicable TTPs.
Accomplish assigned weapon system access, ORM, Go/No Go, reports, TTP updates, and TAR submissions.
Coordinate with CDO, FMA, DCC, ESM, CTE&A, and intelligence as required. Provide force presentation recommendations to Crew Commander.

Job Description:
We are seeking a Closing Officer with a minimum 1-3 years of commercial GSE Loan Closing experience.
Essential Job Duties:
Responsible for working towards independently coordinating and conducting a review of loan closing due diligence items (i.e. organizational documents, management agreement, title commitment and title exceptions, laundry leases, commercial tenant leases, evidence of insurance, various third-party reports, etc.)
Provide all closing due diligence items to outside counsel for review in a timely manner and work closely with them to ensure all rate lock and closing conditions are satisfactorily met in a timely manner.
Coordinate a review of borrower comments to loan documents with outside counsel, recommend appropriate responses through credit risk analysis based on professional experience, knowledge and outside counsel recommendations.
Represent Newmark to outside parties including borrower, investor and counsel during loan document modification negotiations and/or conference calls.
Reconcile all income and expenses to confirm the loan is balanced prior to closing.
Review Loan Commitments and provide comments to ensure accuracy and completeness related to specific terms and conditions of the loan structure.
Responsible for managing the insurance review process. Work with Insurance Consultants and understand, review insurance against investor requirements. Responsible for shepherding the internal insurance waiver process.
Communicate with and provide detailed guidance to other departments within Newmark with regard to complicated/out of the box transactions.
Responsible for managing closing process with internal and external parties to ensure timely closing and sale to investors.
Clearly and immediately communicate problems/issues with a closing or deal and elevate appropriately.
Provide back-up assistance to Team Leader, if applicable, Closing Manager and Delivery Team.
Assist with special projects to improve the process and experience of our clients and business partners.
Skills, Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
B.A. /B.S. degree preferred
Successful completion of Real Estate Finance and Escrow I course or equivalent
1-3 years of commercial GSE closing experience
Thoroughly familiar with escrow/real estate terminology and real estate documents
Ability to navigate through various types of loan structures, non-standard documentation and other potential risk associated with the transaction.
Highly developed analytical, research and written/verbal communication skills
Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgment while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy.

Maintains proficiency in the changing environment of payment processing in order to set-up merchants, provide training, and download terminals.
Maintains detailed records, reports, and logs pertaining to merchant referrals.
Maintains an understanding and knowledge of compliance and risk issues collaborating with management to determine solutions.
Answers questions regarding merchant services from customers and internal contacts.
Communicates in a clear and succinct manner using multiple platforms.

Qualifications
Must be able to report to 3707 Camp Bowie Blvd, Suite 220, Ft. Worth, TX 76107, without the need for relocation assistance.
Must be able to travel and work from multiple locations throughout Ft. Worth market which includes Weatherford, Granbury and Denton.
Bachelor's degree in business or related field OR combination of equivalent relevant work experience and high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing banking (or related) role required. Previous experience in merchant services or treasury management sales strongly preferred.
ETA CPP certification preferred.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Self-motivated with strong business development, sales, and negotiation skills.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of clients and Bank personnel.
Excellent customer service and personal skills.
Excellent PC skills, including word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets via Microsoft Office products as well as custom applications and systems. Experience using Salesforce or other CRM (customer relationship management) system a plus.
Excellent analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.
