Subcontractor Prequalification Management:
Coordinate and send prequalification invitations to subcontractors participating in the SDI program.

Ensure subcontractor data is consistently updated and synchronized between the SDI platform and invitation-to-bid software.

+ Establish the cost management program and deliverables to be used on large scale capital programs (tools, technology, processes and procedures)
+ Integrate all third plans and cost components into integrated cost plan
+ Lead effort to provide detailed analysis to the project manager, client, CM, engineering or other 3rd parties on cost risk, issues, and/or mitigations
+ Drive the accruals and forecast process for the projects including detailed monthly, biweekly, and/or weekly as required
+ Support the risk management process and plan
+ Support facilitation of quantitative risk assessments when required.
+ Develop and lead the earned value component of complex manufacturing programs
+ Support development of projectcontrol and project execution plan
+ Review/approve invoices from subcontractors and third party
+ Assist with the development of RFPs, RFQs and other project related contract negotiations
+ Drive the development of project estimates
+ Drive value engineering process
+ Assist in the development of cost management procedures for C&W and clients as required
**Education/Experience/Training:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
+ 8 or more years of related experience in working as a cost management expert on capital projects, including design and construction phases.
+ Direct experience working on teams within a complex, matrixed environment.
+ Expertise using Excel
+ Experience within the construction industry required, candidates with additional life sciences experience strongly preferred.
+ Must possess exemplary communication skills - both oral and written.

Sr. ProjectControlsAnalyst, Project & Development Services This senior level role will manage all cost management activities of one or multiple complex projects. The role will make an immediate impact at a client by working with senior project managers, clients, and other key stakeholders to support high-level strategic cost plans to support the client through the early phases of the project lifecycle to the closeout. Will work with the Senior project manager and/or projectcontrols manager to develop a plan for the long-term support of the project including building, managing and reporting cost reports and analysis. Must have exceptional organizational, analytical and problem-solving.
Job Description
Essential Job Duties:
Establish the cost management program and deliverables to be used on large scale capital programs (tools, technology, processes and procedures)
Integrate all third plans and cost components into integrated cost plan
Lead effort to provide detailed analysis to the project manager, client, CM, engineering or other 3rd parties on cost risk, issues, and/or mitigations
Drive the accruals and forecast process for the projects including detailed monthly, biweekly, and/or weekly as required
Support the risk management process and plan
Support facilitation of quantitative risk assessments when required.
Develop and lead the earned value component of complex manufacturing programs
Support development of projectcontrol and project execution plan
Review/approve invoices from subcontractors and third party
Assist with the development of RFPs, RFQs and other project related contract negotiations
Drive the development of project estimates
Drive value engineering process
Assist in the development of cost management procedures for C&W and clients as required
Education/Experience/Training:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
8 or more years of related experience in working as a cost management expert on capital projects, including design and construction phases.
Direct experience working on teams within a complex, matrixed environment.
Expertise using Excel
Experience within the construction industry required, candidates with additional life sciences experience strongly preferred.
Must possess exemplary communication skills - both oral and written.

Job Summary SMSI is hiring multiple mid to senior level ProjectControls Specialists to provide onsite support to multiple weapons development programs at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) in California. The candidate can be based in either Livermore, CA or Las Vegas, NV. If based in Las Vegas, NV, the candidate will need to train onsite in Livermore, CA for a few months before transitioning to working fulltime in Las Vegas. Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the ProjectControls/Earned Value Management System. Perform cost estimating, analysis and control activities. As delegated to, supervises/provides technical direction for cost engineering and/or planning/scheduling activities. Identifies trends for management attention.
Provides/supervises schedule development, maintenance and monitoring activities. Provide/supervise cost engineering analysis, and control activities.
Prepares and reviews or supervises the preparation and presentation of cost engineering and planning activities.
Supports project organizational and administrative activities.
Responsible for cost engineering and cost analysis/control and planning and scheduling activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for discipline/projects/proposal cost and planning activities which require a high degree of technical skilled experience.

Provide all necessary documentation and reports to the client and building/facility management team
Cooperate with other building/facility personnel to achieve corporate goals and objectives as to quality, service, cost and profit
Report to the Account/Portfolio Manager and senior building/facility manager regarding major problems and findings and results achieved along with specific, complete, and comprehensive recommendations
Provide the appropriate documentation and obtain the approvals necessary in advance of making organizational changes, actions planned, implying commitments, and expenditures in excess of approved budget
