What You'll Do:
* Provide design, modeling, and documentation services for telecom systems on advanced facility projects.
* Showcase your Revit expertise while adhering to Jacobs and client BIM standards.

* High school graduate or equivalent
* At least 8 years of BIM design experience
* At least 4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry
* Understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions
* Understanding of design and construction specifications and their function
* Understanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a circuit or a link between devices and equipment
* Experience following client design and modeling standards
* Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided markups and/or verbal direction requests
* Willingness to learn
Ideally, you'll also have:
* At least 6 years of Revit and/or AutoCAD design experience
* Understanding of clean room and data center environments
* Knowledge and design experience with paging, intercom, and audio-visual systems
* Knowledge and design experience with life safety and security systems, fire alarm, access control, closed-circuit television (CCTV)

Required:

The typical pay range for this role is $109,000 -$141,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position may include a discretionary bonus based on performance.

About the Role:
As a Control Systems Lead (CSL), you will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying Material Handling Equipment (MHE) controls systems to ensure operational performance and efficiency. You will work on equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply labeling systems, scales, HMI systems, control cabinets, and more. Maintain material handling control systems, industrial, motor control systems, servo and frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems
Troubleshoot and modify software projects for material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers, Allen Bradley Controllogix and Compactlogix PLC platform utilizing Rockwell's software package. Including Industrial networks such as Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, AS-I, motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems.
Act as first level escalation support for the control system technician teams. Appropriately escalate downtime situations to vendors or headquarters for support to restore equipment operation.
Apply subject matter expertise in material handling and electronic control systems to maximize building utilization of systems
Monitor MHE metrics and partner with Controls Technicians and Mechanics to resolve equipment electrical problems that create performance deficiencies. Perform controls systems assessments to maintain and improve equipment reliability
Partner with Facility Operations leadership, equipment vendors and parts suppliers to plan and coordinate new technology installations. Acting as the technical consultant for capital projects inside the building
Communicate technical issues and project timelines with building leadership, operations and the maintenance team. Explain production impacts and work closely with operations and engineering to ensure a thorough understanding of impact to systems
Basic Qualifications:
3+ Years of cumulative work experience in the following areas:
Programming/Commissioning of HMI, PLC, and VFD's
SCADA systems and KPI's
Interpreting and modifying mechanical and electrical drawings
Supporting a range of different conveyors and sortation systems
Equipment Control ComponentsRelays, Motor Starters, VFD's, HMI's, etc.

What We're Looking For

Your Role
Operational Tasks:

Serve as ACG Design contact with outside consultants as directed by supervisor.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor work performed by outside consultants to assure timely completion of all work performed.
Comply with all ADA requirements. Work alongside Technical Director and/or senior-level architects to ensure compliance.
Assist in performing quality control plan reviews.
Review all consultants' drawings for accuracy prior to distribution to other companies and/or submission to permitting or approval authorities.
Follow all ACG Design policies and procedures.
Help ACG establish new standards and best practices for design and constructability.
Other:
Promote teamwork with co-workers as well as outside consultants and entities to achieve timely completion of all work in accordance with project schedules.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Be punctual, adjusting schedules to meet required timelines. Keep the schedule current, reviewing on a weekly basis and coordinating priorities to assure timely completion of all items on the department schedule as well as emergency needs.
