When it opened at 303 Rocky Run in March 1998, John Harvard’s Brandywine Hundred location became the 14th owned by the New England-based brewpub chain.
Previously she had served as founding dean of the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, a post she took up on January 1, 2001.
Sales did not meet the corporation’s expectations and the location closed in September 2005.
In July 2006, Derek Bok returned to the office as interim president while a search for a new Harvard president was launched.
Lawrence S. Bacow took office on July 1, 2018 and is the 29th President of Harvard University.
The Framingham, MA location, the last of Harvard’s franchised breweries, closed in 2020.
