Howell came to Stant from American Axle & Manufacturing Inc. where he spent his prior sixteen years. Prior to assuming his last position at AAM as Vice President of the Americas a $2B P&L, Howell served as vice president, Global Driveline Operations. Prior to joining AAM, Howell was the manager of Japanese business operations for the former Chrysler Corporation, Howell was born in Corning, N.Y., and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. He holds a certificate in East Asian Studies from Xi Bei University, Xian PRC, and a Masters of international business management from Thunderbird in Glendale, Ariz. Howell has proficiency in several languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin and Japanese.
