About The Role
We are seeking a self-motivated, analytical, and highly organized Operations Associate to support our growing realestate investment company across asset management, property management, and acquisitions. This role works closely with ownership and senior leadership and provides hands-on exposure to the full realestate investment lifecycle - from sourcing and underwriting new deals, performing due diligence and market research, repositioning new assets through capital improvements, and day to day operations.
This is not a traditional operations role. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in realestate investment and grow into a senior role within our organization. We operate with a bottom-up philosophy: every team member begins by building deep expertise in day-to-day operations - the lifeblood of our realestate business - before expanding into broader responsibilities across management, strategy, or acquisitions.
About AZ Investments
Founded in 2020, AZ Investments (AZI) is a vertically integrated realestate investment and operating company focused on acquiring, repositioning, and managing multifamily assets.
Since inception, AZI has acquired 13 properties, with an aggregate value of $75M+. Many of these assets have undergone significant renovations, with multiple completed refinances and one successful sale, going through the full investment cycle on many occasions.
To further strengthen operations, AZI launched its in-house property management company, Managed A2Z, in 2023. In 2024, the firm expanded its vertical integration with Statera, an affiliated design, materials, and renovation company that manages capital improvement projects across the portfolio.
Today, AZI owns and manages 14 properties totaling 238 units and has built its systems, team, and infrastructure to continue its growth into the future. Key Responsibilities
Acquisitions
Source and evaluate multifamily acquisition opportunities
Underwrite deals and work in financial models
Review offering memorandums, rent rolls, and T-12 financials
Conduct market research and rent comps analysis
Assist with writing and submitting offers and LOIs
Support due diligence and deal execution
Asset Management
Track financial and operational performance of the portfolio
Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Support capital improvement execution
Assist with refinance and exit preparation
Property Operations & Leasing
Support day-to-day property operations
Coordinate internally and with external vendors to complete repairs and maintenance
Assist with lease renewals and new leases, including prospect communication, tours, applications, and move-ins
Ensure resident satisfaction - the company's top priority
Systems & Process Improvement
Work within AppFolio and internal systems
Assist with reporting, dashboards, and documentation
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency
Qualifications

Personal mode of transportation to travel between properties
Active California realestate license OR eligibility to sit for the realestate licensing exam

Exposure to underwriting or financial modeling
Familiarity with AppFolio or similar property management software

Relevant experience or demonstrated interest in realestate investment and operations will be considered in lieu of formal education.

Operations Team Leadership
. The RealEstate Attorney will oversee a cross-functional team of mortgage and closing professionals to ensure that the Team is staying in compliance with internal operational timeline requirements and meeting or exceeding minimum client satisfaction targets. By doing so, the RealEstate Attorney is expected to help grow CapCenter's business.
Lending Counsel.
The RealEstate Attorney is embedded in CapCenter's mortgage and closing operations and is responsible for advising operational team members on legal and title requirements imposed by state law and the secondary mortgage market.
Transaction Quality Control.
The RealEstate Attorney is the key quality control manager for CapCenter's clients. In addition to preparing transactions for closing and advising the business, the RealEstate Attorney provides legal support and quality assurance to CapCenter's title, loan production, closing, and realty teams.
State Law Subject Matter Expertise.
The RealEstate Attorney will be responsible for becoming a subject matter expert on state law governing the operations team for which the Attorney provides oversight.
Build a Better Way.
The RealEstate Attorney will improve and streamline CapCenter's existing processes, forms, and systems so that the Company operates in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Qualifications
The candidate must have confidence and genuine enthusiasm for helping clients achieve their goals in the area of realestate and home finance. Strong analytical skills and desire to use legal background to run a business, along with the ability to explain numerical concepts, are necessary. Some experience in the private practice of law is preferred. In addition, the following minimum attributes and qualifications are required:
Law License and JD from an accredited law school, along with a Bachelor's degree

About this position
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Corporate RealEstate Services Senior Associate to perform project management functions. In this dynamic role, you will be part of a team designing spaces that enhance the employee workplace experience, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong relationships with clients and service providers.
You will work in the Corporate RealEstate Group (ACR), within the Administrative Services Division (ACP/BDA), which forms part of the Vice Presidency of Finance and Administration. The ACR Group is responsible for managing the IDB Group's corporate facilities, comprising three office buildings in downtown Washington, D.C., a Records Center facility in Ashburn, Virginia, U.S., 26 Country Offices in Latin America and the Caribbean, 2 offices in Europe, and 1 in Asia, totaling approx. 2.3 million sq ft.
The project management position is responsible for managing construction and /or renovation projects, with a primary focus on interior office renovations in our Washington D.C. buildings. The scope includes projects of varying sizes, ranging from small-scale initiatives to major undertakings with construction costs up to an estimated $12M.
This position reports to the Head of ACR and interacts regularly with other ACR colleagues and Senior Management. The position will be based at the IDB Group's headquarters (HQ) in Washington, D.C.
What you'll do
* Perform all aspects of design and construction project management from planning, development, to completion and post-occupancy follow-up.
* Effectively use the institution's systems to gather, monitor, and report on workspace across the organization.
* Work with procurement in requests for proposals and manage awarded contracts.
* Manage project funds and cash flow projections to ensure projects are executed efficiently and within budget.
* Manage invoices submitted by vendors and document payments.
* Maintain updated project and contract documents, specifications, reports, working plans, and as-built plans in the official digital repository.
* Conduct peer reviews of design development and construction documents. Provide feedback and guidance, collaborate across the Group, and work closely with internal stakeholders such as technology, procurement, and others to enhance team and project performance. Identify opportunities to improve tools and methodologies.
What you'll need
* Education: Master's degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Architecture. Additional training and/or certifications in agile methodologies, facilities management, and/or project management are highly desirable.
* Experience: At least 3 years (preferably 5 years) of relevant practical experience in the development, design, and construction areas, and understanding of facilities operations management with deep knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Seasoned knowledge of and experience in architectural design concepts, building systems, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment as applied to large comprehensive construction and renovation projects of an average of 30,000 square feet (around 3,000 square meters) and related construction costs of approximately USD $4M.
* Experience and knowledge about workplace design with US Imperial Units and familiarity with IBC, LEED, WELL, and ADA standards, as well as experience in change management, are a plus.
