JOB SUMMARY -- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
The Avionics Field Engineer is responsible for hands-on maintenance support, repair and modification of Electronic Warfare and RADAR aircraft related system and subsystems, to include platform integration, and assist with T&E development projects for Department of Defense (DoD) manned and unmanned aircraft. Some of the assigned duties include: sustainment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of end items and Line Repairable Units down to the component level.
Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:
Conduct research and reference reading to assist higher-level engineers in obtaining technical information
Keep informed of and study currently approved standards, codes, and procedures applied to engineering specialty
Perform engineering or other highly technical tasks that are varied and may be somewhat difficult in character
Plan and carry out successive engineering steps and resolve technical problems by standard practices and techniques, such as tolerance studies and design calculations
Support projects with limited scope or parts of more complex projects with detailed instructions on the intent and scope of the documents to be prepared
Generate sections of design specifications of more complex projects or complete specifications of less complex projects
Using computer-assisted test methods, conduct laboratory investigations on equipment or systems
Assist in preparation of reports, correspondence, or technical studies
Prepare, deliver, and submit technical presentations for in-process design and review meetings
Have familiarization with Electronic Warfare, Electronic Countermeasures, and RADAR
Airborne systems theory, concepts, and practical applications.
Perform installation, inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, configurations, operations, and test of various technical systems in accordance with established operating procedures to ensure safety of flight
Uses common and complex test instruments: digital multi-meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment
Applies some advanced technical knowledge of schematics and diagrams to solve unusually complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely be referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
An Associate's degree or high school diploma with relevant military and/or
vocational technical school curriculum in a relevant career field.
Avionics operations with 5 years of military aircraft related experience.
Highly motivated technician with experience maintaining military aircraft avionics systems.
Knowledge of ECM, RADAR, Power distribution, Avionics Software, and aircraft
wiring standards.
Expertise and experience in: RADAR, ECM, Power distribution, Avionics
Software, and aircraft wiring standards.
Knowledge of and ability to understand OEM Wiring Diagrams and schematics.
Experience in inspection, repair, and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment
Ability to understand and adhere to FAA, AFOSH, OSHA, and/or USAF equivalent aviation maintenance standards

REQUIREMENTS -- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
An associate's degree in engineering or other technical discipline, or formal academic/vocational/military training and a minimum of seven years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field are required for this position.
In addition, a Field Engineer II must possess the following qualifications:
Three-to-five year's actual and recent aircraft avionics operations maintenance and repair experience. The position requires working knowledge of basic and complex electronics maintenance and repair, knowledge of technical publications related to aircraft electronics maintenance, comprehend electronic theory and some basic principles of operation of engines, accessories and components, theory of flight and electronic flight controls, and must be capable of using and reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables.
Excellent communication, analytical skills and must possess effective planning/organizing skills. The candidate must have a working knowledge of computer systems and computer-based engineering tools.
Candidate will be required to qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and must have a valid, current state driver's license.
Professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles and familiarity with related engineering fields
Practical knowledge of test methods and practices sufficient to perform routine to more complex engineering procedures and to prepare or make minor modifications of standard test procedures or test equipment work instructions
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $77,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually.

DESCRIPTION:
NDTE Field Engineer (FE) will perform routine operation of the Automated Inspection System (AIS), including system startup, operation, and shutdown in accordance with AIS Operation Policy. The FE will oversee setup and takedown of the AIS unit when participating in an NDTE Mobile Mission and assist in setup and takedown of the Hard side Expandable Light Air-Mobile Shelters (HELAMS) shelter (in preparation for transportation) if applicable. Responsible for scheduling and performing preventive and corrective maintenance procedures in accordance with AIS Policy. Works with CONUS based AIS Development Team Engineers as needed to accomplish diagnostic trouble shooting operation and repairs to ensure the AIS system performs as designed. FE will compile daily and weekly operation data which includes processing totals categorized by disposition, size, and source. The FE is expected to be fluent in the NDTE Technician duties and assist as needed to maintain positive processing momentum.
Primary duties will include (but not limited to):
Responsible for overall team performance and quality compliance in Team Leads absence.
Ensures team adheres to established Standard Operating Procedures.
Performs preventive maintenance and schedules corrective maintenance.
Downloads and submits AIS data.
Maintains regular work attendance.
Obtains and maintains any security clearances, status or licenses required by client to perform work.

Yorktel is currently seeking a Senior Field Engineer who will install, commission, and manage the technical aspects of large scale commercial networked Audio/Visual Presentation and Videoconferencing systems. This position regularly works within a project team of individuals with varying responsibilities, degrees of expertise and influence.
This position reports directly to the Director of Yorkforce. The Director of Yorkforce will provide direction and support to the Sr. Field Engineer. The Sr. Field Engineer will help determine best strategy for remediation of any variation to client requirements and/or technical variables which may inhibit successful completion of any project or effort. The Director of Yorkforce will also support the Sr. Field Engineer on career development and escalation issues.
Roles & Responsibilities
Communicate to stakeholders, any client, site and/or project specific issues, make recommendations to the PMO in regard to such issues and ensure agreed upon resolution of issues.
Regularly communicate answers to complex questions and respond to detailed inquiries regarding technical issues and the resolutions thereof.
Handles and is expected to protect all internal and external confidential information and must utilize discretion and judgment based on company policies and procedures.
Communicate daily technical and site specific information to the project team in a comprehensive, thorough and detailed manner.
Daily interaction with clients and job sites to document customer requirements and job site conditions.
Provide any and all post installation documentation, including red lined drawings, network information, MAC addresses, etc... back to Project Management.
Be capable of working effectively and efficiently with support from other members of the engineering team.
Maintain complete and accurate project documentation and records.
Communicate effectively with internal staff, client representatives, cooperative trades and subcontractors.
Daily oversight of subcontractors and other installation engineers.
Be responsible for successfully completing assignments on time and within budget and communicate effectively to the project team if budget and/or timeline is in jeopardy.
Conform to company technical standards and practices.
Correctly interpret multiple formats of technical specifications; schematic drawings and architectural diagrams.
Knowledge of and adherence to Yorktel policies and procedures.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Technical Job Responsibilities:
Lead the installation, replacement and/or configuration of integrated system components, networked Video Conferencing Codecs, networked A/V Control Systems and networked Audio DSP Devices
Test and commission the final installation of entire system prior to Client handover including proper installation, set-up, calibration and operation of DSP-based audiovisual components and networked AV control systems
Daily communication with the Project Management Team of project status including immediate communication of any issues which may impact successful, timely completion of project
Audio system calibration, including AEC and RF systems
Display calibration for color, EDID and others.
Perform hands on Client training upon completion of project
Ensure Customer Acceptance Form is signed and sent back to Project Management upon Client sign off of job completion
Ensure all ‘red lined' engineering drawings are completed and returned upon completion of project.
Provide post-installation support in transition to Yorktel tech services departments
All other duties as assigned.

About the Role
As a Senior Field Engineer and Solution Architect, you'll lead Tomorrow.io's on-site technical operations for a high-profile, fast-moving global technology project. Job Description
Are you a Telecom Engineer who would like to work at an innovative and fast-paced company changing the way doctors interact with their patients? If so, we want to talk to you!
What you'll be doing:
Provides implementation and maintenance support of enterprise electronic voice communications network. Provide scalable voice network solution for clinical and campus environments and assist senior team members on complex projects, including all technical aspects of: Voice Network Management solutions, SoNet Ring implementations, design and new voice switch implementations, technical and procedural documentation, and disaster recovery planning/testing. Provides analyst functions of: trunk/network utilization and traffic balancing and recommendations, security violations, technical aspects of the Call Accounting implementation, project planning, IVR/ACD/call routing design and implementation, cost management, and new technology implementation. Performs other advanced telecommunications duties including strategic planning. Performs assignments in troubleshooting software and/or hardware problems for voice network based systems and installation. Works with internal customers, vendors, and internal support personnel to achieve maximum network and equipment availability in a critical need 7 X 24 environment. Overtime and on-call support as needed.
Qualifications
We want our people to be set up for success, so we have a few required skill sets that must be met:
• Four years of technical experience in Nortel PBX /Key/MerMail/Meridian Max/Client, Cisco Call Manager system administration management with a BA Degree in Telecommunications or equivalent technical field; OR 6 years of technical experience in Nortel/Client PBX management without a BA Degree or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
• Cisco Call Manager and VoIP arena experience a must.
• Four years call center experience required.
• Proven experience in dealing with carriers, equipment vendors, and cost management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Word, Access, Project, and Visio required.
