Mike brings proven leadership and a track record of building strong, long-lasting customer relationships. By creating a culture centered on core business values, Mike has facilitated substantial business growth throughout his 30 years in the contract services and staffing industries. From 1998 to 2012, Mike was President and CEO of Diversco, a provider of outsourced services (contract cleaning, temporary staffing, security guards) to the manufacturing, logistics, and distribution sectors. During his tenure, Mike developed and executed strategic plans resulting in growth through both acquisitions and organic initiatives that increased revenues from $65 million to $275 million. Prior to joining Diversco, Mike held senior executive positions at two different divisions of National Service Industries, a $2 billion multi-business company based in Atlanta, Georgia. He first served as executive vice president and COO at Selig Chemical Inc., a $50 million manufacturer and marketer of industrial cleaning chemicals where he was responsible for manufacturing, distribution, and sales. Most recently, he was senior vice president with National Linen Service, a $500 million industrial laundry company specializing in providing uniform and hospitality textile rental products. At National Linen, Mike had full P&L responsibility for a $100 million manufacturing, sales, and distribution business; he also served as vice president of sales, overseeing national accounts, marketing, and a large national sales force. Mike is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and the Executive Development Consortium for Senior Managers at Emory University.

Jochen Thewes, born 1971, is Chairman of the Board of Management of Schenker AG since September 1, 2015. Thewes, whose roots are in the German city of Rheda-Wiedenbrück, is an internationally recognized supply chain and logistics expert, bringing more than 20 years of senior management expertise and experiences, in both regional and global positions. Over the past years Thewes has made significant contributions to DB Schenker, most notably since 2011 in his role as Chief Executive Officer in Singapore in the fast paced and most dynamic Asia/Pacific Region, where he is responsible for 13.000 employees spread across 200 locations in 20 countries. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President Global Ocean Freight, based in the Head Office in Essen/Germany. He spent more than twelve years in different functions in Asia and Latin America such as President of the company in Brazil, General Manager for Central China in Shanghai and Chief Representative in Vietnam.
