The KBR Metrology team supports Honeywell Aerospace, Otto Instruments, Garrett Advanced Motion, and their suppliers by offering services such as onsite/offsite laboratory visits, test equipment calibration and repair, AMS2750 pyrometry services, metrology engineering, and equipment inspection. Our team ensures that the equipment is maintained to high standards through preventative maintenance, calibration recall system management, automation and programming, and performance tracking dashboards. Job Summary This position involves calibrating and certifying Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The role requires utilizing certified laboratory standards and manufacturer, commercial, or military specifications/calibration procedures. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting, fault isolation, adjustments, repairs, and managing logistics for TMDE assets. Roles and Responsibilities Calibrate and certify TMDE using certified laboratory standards and NIST traceable procedures. Perform troubleshooting, fault isolation, adjustments, and repairs on TMDE. Handle TMDE pick-up and delivery, shipping and receiving of customer and lab assets. Review certificates of conformance from external suppliers. Communicate with external vendors regarding status, shipment, and logistics. Basic Qualifications High school diploma with applicable technical training and 2 years of direct experience, OR Associate's degree in engineering technology or relevant field and 1 year of direct experience. U.S. Citizenship required due to client requirements. Proficient in Microsoft technologies, including Excel. Preferred Qualifications Experience with IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track, and Met/Cal. Previous customer service experience. Installs correct software versions in test bay (after consulting ME) before chamber moves into test.
