Kinderdance International company history timeline
In 1979, Carol Kay Harsell was busy running the American Academy of Dance, a successful dance school she founded in Scottsdale, Arizona.
By 1981, Harsell and Friedman were thrilled with the success of the Kinderdance program.
Kinderdance® programs have been delighting young children in Manhattan and the Bronx since 1996! Although the music has gone from cassette tapes to ipods, the developmental needs of young children stays the same.
Harsell retired in 2011, and Kinderdance® is now headed by Richard Maltese and his family.
