This hybrid, full-time role will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and analyzing project cost and schedule performance for complex rail infrastructure projects. The Project Controls Analyst will provide critical insights to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining compliance with agency and industry standards. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, maintain, and update project schedules and cost forecasts in alignment with project scope and objectives. Track and analyze project performance, including schedule progress, budget variance, and resource utilization. Prepare detailed cost reports, schedule updates, and variance analyses for project stakeholders. Support the preparation of project status reports, performance scorecards, and executive presentations. Monitor risks, scope changes, and change orders, providing recommendations to mitigate impacts. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and agency representatives to validate project data. Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements. Provide support for audits, funding requests, and agency reporting requirements. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Required Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or a related field. 3 - 10 years of experience in project controls, cost management, and scheduling for large capital projects. Demonstrated experience with transit, rail , or heavy civil infrastructure projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6 , Microsoft Excel, and project management tools (e.g., SAP, MS Project ). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost and schedule data to support decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Professional certifications such as PMP, CCP (Certified Cost Professional), EVP (Earned Value Professional), or PMI-SP.
