_Work Mode: Onsite_ **Opportunity** To provide basic facilities maintenance and preventative maintenance inspection as required to assure the functional reliability of patron facilities and optimum performance of one, if not all building systems and equipment in the Hospitality & Real Estate Group properties. Must demonstrate and be proficient at some technical skills such as but not limited to; carpentry, mechanicals, flooring, painting, electrical, pools, HVAC, drywall, etc. Must exhibit good interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers.
**Specific Responsibilities**
+ Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and service for specified equipment, machinery, and systems throughout the Group facilities.
+ Perform simple repairs to buildings or equipment at Group facilities as requested through Work Orders. Provide assistance to more experienced Technicians in addressing complex inspections or repairs when more than one person is required.
+ Monitor assigned external areas of the Group facilities for safe and functional use by patrons.
+ Participate in training programs to develop skills, knowledge, and background as it pertains to the Group facilities.
+ Maintain accurate preventative maintenance inspection reports, work schedules, backlog, and completed work order reports.
+ Recommend ordering of maintenance spare parts and materials for repairs and/or inventory.
+ Maintain storage areas in an orderly manner in compliance with all building fire and safety codes.
+ Communicate regularly via electronically and verbally to pass along information to the next shift and/or maintenance department for follow-up and/or awareness.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time position. Shifts vary from 2:30pm-11:00pm on weekdays and weekends.
**Skills/Requirements**
+ High School graduate.
+ Carpentry training/experience required.
+ Additional technical training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, tiling, pools, and/or plumbing preferred.
+ Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled trade position.
+ Must be a motivated tradesmen capable of working independently with little supervision.
+ Weekend availability required.

Field Service Technician- Generator Division

Generator Service Technicians are responsible for performing both shop and/or field repairs, maintenance service and troubleshooting of diesel and gas generators, including automatic transfer switches, batteries, and load banks. *Hired candidates may be eligible for a Signing Bonus based on skill level and certifications.
Essential Job Functions
Perform technical skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of generators
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of generators both during normal working hours and after-hours, weekends, and holidays as directed
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance service and/or repairs of generators
Read and interpret operational manuals, electrical schematics, universal generator literature, and work orders to perform required maintenance and/or repairs
Perform basic mathematical calculations
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report them and any other unusual situations to the service manager in a timely manner
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly shop work areas, company vehicles, and job site work areas
Drive company vehicle to and from job sites throughout the day. Overnight travel by land and/or air may be required on occasion
Additional Job Functions
May perform work requiring the use of welding tools, winch, pulley, hoist and/or pallet jack
May be required to tow a trailer, portable generator, or load bank using Company vehicle
Experience and Skills
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (including physical and work environment)
Working knowledge of power generation systems and its components, including knowledge of the mechanical operation, associated hazards, and proper usage of the equipment in order to troubleshoot and accurately diagnose malfunctions
Proficient with generator and transfer switch controls
Must be strong mechanically and electrically
Ability to interpret schematics and operational manuals for practical application on repair and maintenance tasks
Working knowledge of fundamental mathematical operations
Ability to take preventative safety measures to avoid electrical shock, limit exposure to loud noises, and prevent personal injury by using personal protective equipment, including the use of NFPA 70E protective equipment when applicable
Skilled usage of mechanical tools utilized to repair and maintain generators and their components
Ability to perform duties in non-climate controlled environments such as outdoor weather conditions and non-weather related wet, humid and/or extreme heat conditions
Position requires extended periods of standing, extended periods of sitting while driving, as well as bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, kneeling, squatting and the use of hands to finger, handle and feel
Ability to lift and/or move heavy objects up to 100 lbs. throughout the work day
Minimum Job Qualifications (education, work experience, licenses/certifications)
High School or equivalent (GED)
5 to 7 years of related work experience or training or equivalent combination of both education and experience
Motor Vehicle Record must be in good standing and comply with Company policy

Job Summary/Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Use of proper processes, procedures and OMS instructions, cycle counting procedures
Proper safety procedures
Daily participation and demonstrated 5-S practices
Daily/Weekly/Monthly preventative maintenance duties on machines & equipment
Continually open to learning and acquiring new skills by progressing through the skills matrix
Specialize in either assembly or fabrication
Perform regular production or assembly duties as required within the respective cell or department.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
A team player with excellent communication skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude and solid blueprint reading skills.
Ability to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.
Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
Strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
Highschool diploma or equivalent.
2 + years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment is preferred.
Certification for sit-down forklift, Raymond and use of overhead crane or the willingness to obtain via training.
Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
