This role provides counseling, education and supervision of clients in both individual and group settings as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assist clients in achieving their treatment goals. Directs, participates and assists clients in planning and carrying out daily activities and evaluates clients during activities. Consults with and may make referrals to other community agencies to provide needed client services. Maintains clinical documentation including client progress towards goals, documentation of activities, med observation records, shift notes etc. Intervenes in crisis situations and attempts to avert potential crisis situation. Provides orientation to new clients upon intake. This position will require days, nights and weekends with on call shifts. *We have opportunities for Night Recovery Technicians with variable hours based on shifts. Essential Responsibilities: Demonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis situations, work independently and cooperatively, recognize personal limitations, and relate positively and with empathy to all persons regardless of age, race, creed, gender, or sexual orientation. Maintain professional conduct consistent with ethical professional practice and the policies and procedures of the agency. Maintain a professional demeanor and positive working relationships with internal and external team members, stakeholders, and community and business partners. Transport clients in agency vehicles as necessary. May assist in orientation and training of new staff members. May attend and participate in client staffing to determine progress and treatment outcomes. Perform related duties as assigned. If driving while on agency time or on agency business, a valid Arizona driver license and appropriate liability insurance and approval for liability coverage with EMPACT - SPC's liability insurance carrier is required. At time of hire, a 3-year state driving record with no major infractions or excessive driving violations/tickets is required. Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment. Performs lymphocyte subset testing on the AQUIOS flow cytometer as well as lymphocyte subset testing washed panels for the Navios according to department workflow and SOP. 5. Performs specimen processing for peripheral blood, bone marrow, tissue and fluids. This includes cell counts using Sysmex, slide preparation and staining, immunophenotyping using the appropriate lysing technique, as well as acquisition of samples on the Flow Cytometers according to department workflow and SOP. 6. Communicates courteously, professionally, effectively and accurately with internal and external customers. Participates in the resolution of communication issues. Knows and utilizes appropriate resources for increased levels of problem solving. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills. Promotes positive communications that enhances teamwork.
