We are seeking a dedicated Stores Attendant-B to join our team at the Pearsall Laydown Yard. The position involves managing inventory, handling materials, and operating equipment while adhering to company safety protocols. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Occasional local travel may be required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Issue materials under proper authorization and maintain records.
+ Check received materials for quantity and condition, and process related records.
+ Report irregularities and abnormal conditions.
+ Identify, sort, and record returned materials, and manage scrap materials.
+ Operate computer terminals and office equipment to support material management.
+ Prepare and pack materials for shipment, including hazardous materials, following safety procedures.
+ Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
+ Assist in maintaining efficient storage of materials and perform inventory cycle counts.
+ Perform duties in accordance with company safety rules and practices.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Minimum of one year experience in inventory control, material handling, or warehousing.
+ Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
+ Knowledge of logistics and inventory management software such as Maximo.
+ Ability to perform basic math functions and lift up to 70 pounds.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in operating heavy equipment like Case 821 Wheeloader and JLG Telehandler is preferred.
+ Construction experience is beneficial.
+ Possession of a State driver's license; CDL to be obtained within six months if required.

Inside Sales Representative Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication & Relationship Management
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Quoting & Proposal Development
Review customer specifications and prepare accurate quotes based on machining capabilities, materials, and timelines.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure realistic pricing and lead times.
Order Entry & Processing
Accurately enter customer orders into the system, including part numbers, quantities, pricing, and shipping details.
Coordinate with production to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Technical Drawing Assistance

Qualifications
Experience:
2-3 years in inside sales, preferably in manufacturing or machining.
Experience with quoting, order entry, and basic CAD drawing creation is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.
Basic knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate quotes and orders.
