We are looking for safety-minded people who are collaborative team players, and are ready and excited to make a difference. Crop Scouting interns will work directly with the area agronomy sales advisor. Main duties of this position is scout fields for weeds, insect and disease pressure, and occasionally take and submit tissue samples. Interns will attend training events and job shadow with account managers, precision ag specialist and other departments within RVC. What You'll Do: Participate in Training sessions with our experienced Agronomy Professionals. Including a formal training program facilitated by Winfield. They will complete regular plot visits to discuss weed and disease to watch for that particular time. Participate in coordinated Field Trips to vendors and suppliers within our industry. Tour River Valley facilities and learn about all areas within our company (Grain, Feed, Agronomy and Energy) Work with a Mentor to receive a guided learning experience. Interns will work directly with their mentor daily.
