As a Maintenance Technician III, you will perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on automated conveyor and sortation systems and supporting equipment at a high-volume grocery fulfillment and distribution center. In this role, you will directly drive equipment reliability through executing preventive maintenance tasks, respond to and resolve equipment failures in a timely manner to minimize operational impact, and support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment uptime and support client operations teams. You will also support the team with maintaining and repairing base building systems within the facility. As a Maintenance Technician III, you will serve as a key technical contributor within the maintenance team, bringing advanced troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and a focus on equipment performance. Key Responsibilities:
Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
Monitoring: Create, assign, and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
Support: Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures. Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
Communication: Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Operations facility.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
4+ years of experience working with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
4 + years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
3+ years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
2 + years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
Experience acting in a team lead capacity that supports, trains, and mentors less experienced technicians.
Previous vendor management experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, with the ability to create and manage documents effectively.
Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
Physical Demands:
Must have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, use an aerial lift, and frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment.
Ability to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include but is not limited to hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes.
Regularly required to crouch or bend and reach to install/move equipment.
Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day.
Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
Regularly required to type on a computer for 1-2 hours per day.

THE ROLE
Chetola Resort is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This individual will help maintain our resort facilities, with a primary focus on our condominium residences and support for our main Lodge rooms. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional with a service mindset and a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operational Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance duties across the resort including basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs
Respond promptly to guest and team member maintenance requests
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, lighting, and appliance issues
Complete daily inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs
Monitor and report any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions
Assist with snow removal, groundskeeping, and seasonal projects as needed
Support preventive maintenance schedules and accurate record-keeping
Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and other departments for timely issue resolution
Shift & Team Support
Work independently, while staying in close communication with team leads
Ensure a clean and organized work environment and equipment
Uphold high standards of professionalism and guest service in all tasks
Provide backup support for other shifts or emergency coverage as needed

Availability to work some weekends and holidays preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in a physically active environment
Valid driver's license required

Chetola Resort is seeking a dependable and skilled Evening Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This hands-on role plays a key part in maintaining our facilities and responding to service needs during the busy evening hours. The ideal candidate has a strong service mindset, solid maintenance skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
SCHEDULE
5:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 5 days per week
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Monitor and report unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions to ensure guest and team safety
Support preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate records of work performed
Assist with seasonal or evening projects (e.g., light snow removal, minor grounds tasks) as required
Shift & Team Support
Work independently during evening shifts while maintaining close communication with the Maintenance Manager and daytime team for smooth handoffs
Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and Security to ensure timely resolution of guest issues
Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment
Uphold Chetola's high standards of professionalism, safety, and guest service in every interaction
Provide backup support for other shifts or emergency coverage as needed
Requirements

Comfortable working independently and prioritizing service requests with minimal supervision.
