Patricia was a part of the LAYC family earlier in her career as the founding executive director of LAYC’s YouthBuild Public Charter School and the director of the LAYC Youth Opportunities and YouthBuild programs. She has also worked as an appointee of the Clinton Administration at the Administration for Children and Families and as an organizer and advocate for low-income children and families at the Children’s Defense Fund. She has a master’s degree in public policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska.

Bryant Davis began with LAYC in early 2019 as the organization’s Controller and now serves as the Chief Financial and Administration Officer. He is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the administrative, operational, and program-support functions necessary to deepen and expand LAYC’s impact. Also, he leads the financial and administrative team, which includes Finance, Informational Technology (IT), Human Resources (HR), and facility operations.

Prior to LAYC, Bryant was with Discovery Communications where he managed the $200M Education Division. He is familiar with systems implementation and multi-tasking large, complex projects. Bryant prides himself on being highly analytical and skilled at assessing needs, developing solutions, and evaluating results. Bryant is a graduate of the University of Maryland where he received his BS in Accounting and Finance. Outside of his work with LAYC, Bryant is a Founder, White Oak Youth Organization, which mentors youth ages five through fourteen.
