The Sales Associate is responsible to assist customers throughout the retail store. The primary function of the Sales Associate is to provide excellent customer service. This may include greeting customers in the store, cashier responsibilities, answering product related questions, product assembly, general housekeeping, and other duties as assigned by manager. The Sporting Goods Sales Associate should have knowledge of firearms and be able to accurately complete all required FFL procedures for sales of firearms.
Pay Range: $11.00-$19.00 Depending on experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet customers as they shop in the retail store, assisting with customer service questions.
Price store merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
Assist in receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
Responsible for assisting in cycle counts.
Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
Handle customer transactions utilizing KCX cash register system.
Responsible for accurate cash handling.
Responsible for handling customer returns.

Responsibilities
Under general supervision, apply fertilizer and crop protection products. May require use of a high clearance sprayer or floater.
Pick up and deliver product to customers as needed.
Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Educate customers on products being applied to fields, techniques utilized, and how you can continue to support them with products and services.
Assist the sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patron needs are met.
Perform warehouse work to including driving loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance.
Lift and load products, 1-2 hours per day.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. To include but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle(s) inside and out, and work environment.
Complete and document daily maintenance inspections. Ensure proper equipment maintenance is completed including repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
