Job Summary:
This position is eligible for a $5,000 hiring incentive.
The Psychiatric Social Worker manages the care and treatment of patients at the Arizona State Hospital- coordinating admissions and discharges within the state's community-based program/facilities (i.e. residential, day-treatment, out-patient treatment, etc.). This position coordinates the care and treatment with multidisciplinary teams within the hospital, conducts individual, group, and family therapy, interventions, treatments and provides psychoeducation. The Career Advocate will assist students with identifying their learning styles, strengths, weaknesses, and interests while developing self-knowledge and self-advocacy skills that build confidence and encourage continued growth. They help students engage with the program, develop awareness of accommodation, and assist with requesting necessary accommodation on a job and in postsecondary education.
This is a part-time position 10 months of the year (August 16th - June 15th).
