The Director, Legal Ops & Legal Systems Innovation (“Director”) is responsible for overseeing the design and operation of effective legal technology and administrative systems to support Earthjustice's various legal programs. The position works closely with Information Technology (“IT”) leadership to develop and implement the General Counsel's (“GC's”) and legal teams' legal technology strategy. The Director acts as an innovative leader, can get things done, continually improves processes, and stays up to date on legal technology and legal innovation opportunities to help support IT's work towards overall systems improvement. The Director may attend relevant industry conferences and travel to meet with teams as necessary and appropriate from time-to-time. This position is also responsible for supporting GC staff in compliance and risk management responsibilities. This position is supervisory, overseeing a team of skilled professionals, and reports to the General Counsel. The Director, Legal Ops & Legal Systems Innovation is expected to work a full-time (37.5 hours/week) schedule and may work hybrid or remote. What You'll Do Management (15%) Collaborate with organizational leadership to align operational strategies for program teams with organizational goals and improve legal systems innovation to support Earthjustice legal programs, to enhance efficiency of workflows and to strengthen compliance. A minimum of three (3) years of hospice/home health experience required; five (5) to seven (7) years' experience and clinical expertise in hospice preferred. Certification in hospice nursing (CHPN) preferred. Expertise in regulatory requirements and compliance as it pertains to hospice required. Must be able to travel extensively through region, including overnight stays if needed. Frequently works variable hours/days; activities and workload may require extended days. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains a store environment that reflects company brand and corporate operating procedures. Hires, trains, and retains the highest quality team members who exhibit energy and enthusiasm Coaches using the company's selling skills model with the passion to drive real action Uses metrics to coach the proper behaviors needed to be a world-class selling organization Utilizes company resources to keep associates up to date on product knowledge, selling skills and operational efficiencies. Leads all store activities with the highest ethical standards and demands the same from their teams Ensures associates are provided with the necessary tools to perform job responsibilities. Improve all store associate's product-knowledge, effectiveness, and efficiency through weekly meetings with an emphasis on total customer satisfaction. Coach and counsel team based on results Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives. Ensure appropriate merchandise displays and signage. Continually evaluate and react to performance issues and actively recruit management and sales associates. Complies with security and confidentiality regarding company policies. Complies with company safety standards Job Qualifications Position Requirements: 5+ years General Sales Management, preferably in a commissioned sales or big box retail environment A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related areas is preferable. Prior experience successfully managing a team of 25 or more associates is required. Proven track record of meeting financial objectives Ability to execute plans and strategies. Ability to positively lead, mentor and drive a successful sales team Experience in a commissioned sales environment preferred. Proven track record of customer service excellence Goal oriented - Energetically focuses efforts on meeting goals, mission, or objective. Excellent communication and listening skills Strong attention to detail Effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously
