RegisteredNurse - Lighthouse Residential Treatment Job Summary: The RegisteredNurse (RN) works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager as part of an interdisciplinary team ensuring the provision of safe and high-quality medical and nursing care. The RN through nursing assessments communicates client needs to the medical providers and provides education to help clients meet their treatment goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Completes assessments as part of the admission process and throughout the client's stay
* Executes orders from the medical providers, including medication administration and assessments, documenting all care in the electronic client record (ECR)
* Performs point of care testing, including obtaining urine specimens, and arranges transport to lab as ordered.
* Provides individual and family counseling.
* Participates in the development and delivery of educational curriculum on medical topics.
* Supervises LPNs providing nursing care.
* Administers medication as required by protocol.
* Responds to crisis calls for assessment and pertinent intervention as needed.
* Completes clinical documentation as required.
* Ensures client care by providing support to the interdisciplinary team as needed, which includes coordinating care with outside providers and discharge planning.
* Abides by all federal and state regulations and accreditation standards in the delivery of nursing care.
* Maintains good working relationships with support networks, government resources, and community resources.
* Maintains a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment for clients
* Completes all agency-required training and continuing education required for license.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Certifications:
* Valid and current state RN license
* Minimum 1 year of behavioral health nursing experience.
* Knowledge of psychiatric medications, their indications, common side effects, and common medication interactions.
* Knowledge of federal, state, and other applicable standards for clinical practice in assigned area(s).
* Valid Ohio driver's license and insurance.
* Must pass BCI check, all corporate compliance checks, and employment drug screen.
Desired Experience/Certifications:
* Psychiatric or addiction nursing experience preferred.
Schedule: This is a full time position, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on facility needs.
Compensation Range: $36.00 - $43.00 DOE plus $2.00 shift differential for 3rd shift

As a registerednurse (RN) in this collaborative role, you'll be an integral part of a dedicated team, administering cutting-edge treatments like chemotherapeutic agents, immunotherapy, and hormonal injections. You'll work closely with colleagues on liver-directed therapy, innovative treatments, research trials, cancer prevention vaccines, and assisting surgeons with intratumoral cancer procedures. **Location:** Eisenberg 32, 33, 35, Desk 3C (EI32, EI33, EI35) - The Family Birth Center
**Labor and Delivery, located on EI33** , is comprised of eleven birthing/recovery suites, three surgical delivery rooms, and a neonatal resuscitation room. Support persons are encouraged to be with the laboring woman as she desires. Siblings may attend the birth as well, if the family chooses to prepare the child for that option with the assistance of the Perinatal Education class. Nurses also assist in the perioperative care of patients undergoing caesarean birth, postpartum tubal ligations, dilatation and curettage for miscarriage, and special procedures performed by the Maternal Fetal Medicine service.
**Patient Care Type:** The Family Birth Center cares for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum patients and their newborn babies. The staff consists of RNs and PCAs who deliver patient care. The area is supported by a variety of resource persons including health unit coordinators, perinatal education coordinators, nursing education specialists, clinical nurse specialists, social workers, and lactation consultants. Physicians from the following Mayo Clinic departments provide care: Obstetrics, Family Medicine, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Neonatology, Pediatrics, and Anesthesiology. Certified nurse midwives and neonatal nurse practitioners also provide care for our patients. The focus of care is family-centered delivered through couplet care model.

The Cardiovascular Device Nurse will provide thorough, competent interrogations and reprogramming of cardiac devices implanted in patients, including, but not limited to Pacemakers, Implantable Loop Recorders, and Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators. This will include device interrogations completed in the inpatient, procedural, and outpatient settings as well as remotely monitored patients. The Cardiovascular Device Nurse will complete initial interrogations, report generation, charges, and documentation in the Electronic Health Record and Device Management Systems as well as bring acute/urgent issues to the attention of providers. The **Primary Care Resource Team** offers flexible scheduling and provides support across multiple areas within primary care. This includes virtual care for patients presenting with infectious diseases such as upper respiratory infections (including COVID-19 and influenza), Strep throat, measles, and Mpox. Team members also complete both virtual and in-person Medicare Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs) and administer immunizations at seasonal mass vaccination clinics which may include supporting employee and primary care patients, School-Located Immunization Program (SLIP) sites, and After Visit Care (AVC) settings.
In this role, nurses are responsible for navigating the electronic health record, applying nursing protocols, and conducting patient assessments in-person, via video visits, or over the phone. Additional duties include administering injections, responding to medical emergencies, and providing care to both pediatric and adult patients across the lifespan.
