Lightning Pick company history timeline

1992

The Tampa Bay Lightning have had a short, eventful history in the NHL since the club's founding in 1992.

1998

Since being introduced in 1998, Lightning Pick has introduced many hardware and software advances in the pick-to-light industry.

2001

He was selected eighth overall by the Lightning and began his career in the NHL in 2001, where he split the season between Tampa Bay and the Springfield Falcons.

2005

The Bolts selected him 30th overall in 2005 with their first-round pick.

2006

The defenseman spent time in the WHL playing for the Calgary Hitmen before he was drafted and was then moved to the Prince George Cougars, finally making the Lightning’s AHL affiliate, the Springfield Falcons, in 2006.

Many of our early customers remember us as Professional Control Corporation (PCC). In 2006 our PCC Systems order fulfillment technologies changed their name to Lightning Pick Technologies.

2014

Innovative Picking Technologies, Inc. (IPTI), another Matthews pick-to-light and distribution center automation solutions provider, became part of the Lightning Pick brand in September, 2014.
