Ligonier Ministries history
Ligonier Ministries company history timeline
Since its founding in 1971 by Doctor R.C. Sproul, Ligonier has been a fellowship of teachers dedicated to making the deep truths of the Christian faith accessible to growing believers.
Then, in 1975, a teaching series was recorded, for the first time, by video.
R.C.’s first radio program, The R.C. Sproul Study Hour, aired in 1982.
In 1988, Ligonier hosted its first National Conference under the title Loving a Holy God.
These were building up to the launch of Renewing Your Mind in 1994.
Ligonier also expanded the teaching base in 2010 to include the teaching fellows.
Founded by R.C. Sproul in 2011, RBC provides college students with a classical education that is distinctly Reformed.
In March 2018, Ligonier first aired Renovando tu Mente, the daily Spanish language version of Renewing Your Mind.
