RESPONSIBILITIES:. Grain Etch parts using acids in tank. Verification of parts to paperwork. Load/Unload parts per PEI. Soak parts in acids and rinse properly with water. Operate power washing equipment. Hand dry parts or operate automatic parts washer. Communicate issues with Waste Water Department and Level II Inspector. Monitor acid tank levels and schedule change-outs. Perform daily gage audits on acid tanks. Record all work performed in Lot Control. Perform other duties in department as assigned by Supervision. Keep the work area in a clean, orderly and safe working condition. Follow all safety rules. Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures. Perform all other duties assigned by supervision. QUALIFICATIONS: Pay close attention to detail. Must have good attendance record. No written or higher warnings for quality or attendance. Must show ability to follow detailed procedures reliably. Able to meet daily production goals. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to be self-directed and motivated. Capable of handling multiple tasks. Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions. REQUIREMENTS: Operator is required to pass certification test after training. Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required). Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required). Certification and completion of written exam in accordance with applicable SOP.
