Join our team and play a pivotal part of launching Hobart's newest fully automated cold-storage expansion! Your expertise will be vital in driving our success and fostering innovation. Responsibilities: Maintain and troubleshoot all systems and subsystems of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), including conveyors, robotic arms, and End of Arm Tools. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system components, including sensors, PLCs, fieldbus communication, and network systems. Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and adjustments to ensure system reliability. Replace and repair conveyor mechanical components (chains, belts, rollers, drive motors) and control system sensors (photo-eyes, proximity, electronic sensors). Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in CMMS and report issues to management with estimated repair timelines. Assist and train automation technicians in troubleshooting and repair procedures. Ensure a clean and organized work environment by removing replaced parts and maintaining equipment areas. Work safely in cold environments and at heights, following all company safety protocols. Technical Requirements: Strong working knowledge of 480V, 277V, and 120V electrical systems (single and three-phase). Advanced experience with PLCs, network diagnostics, and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns. Mechanical and electrical aptitude to replace and maintain RGV and crane components. Experience with CMMS and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Physical ability to perform equipment inspections, mechanical repairs, and component replacements.
