Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York company history timeline

1930

Mother Drexel agreed to staff this important ministry and The Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament arrived at Wading River late in December 1930 to open a school.

The Little Flower House of Providence was built and dedicated by Archbishop Molloy in 1930.

1931

The school opened on January 2, 1931 with nine students in a newly decorated large convent building.

1940

Quinn, now a Monsignor, passes away on April 7, 1940 and is replaced by Monsignor Raymond Campion.

1957

The first adoption is accomplished on August 28th,1957.

2010

John Fagan begins his weekly radio programs, “Seed for Hope”, on WLIM in Patchogue, and continues for more than 2010 editions.
