Little Sisters of The Poor of Indianapolis company history timeline

1873

In 1873, the Little Sisters were able to purchase two and a half acres of land from the Sisters of Providence.

1878

By the spring of 1878, the Little Sisters had already outgrown their home on East St and were in need of a larger building to accommodate their residents and meet increasing demand.

1967

Three years later, in November 1967, the Little Sisters and eighty-six residents moved from their building on Vermont St into their new home at 2345 West 86th St

2009
