Responsibilities: Report daily shipments to scheduling and accounting departments. Review all emails regarding shipments, freight quotes and any quality issues from shipments. Review schedule with all departments for accurate dates on a daily basis. Create all paperwork including labels for all job folders. Handle all incoming product shipments, parts and UPS orders and label them with correct job numbers. Review current freight vendors and look at new vendors and to ensure they meet requirements. Send out all freight requests and review. Upon review, send to sales personnel. Check that all product shipment dates are correct for receiving and review with sales team and inform the scheduler of all changes. Assist with tasks as necessary to complete tasks. Explore Seda at: ************************** Primary Responsibilities • Communicate effectively with production and quality teams to ensure smooth transfer of finished goods from the production floor to warehouse and loading docks. • Oversee systems for product and raw material inventory, including delivery schedules, transport costs, and performance metrics. • Ensure effective control of transportation, warehousing, and stock management processes. • Maintain structures to monitor the flow of goods and materials across all shifts. smooth transfer of finished goods from the production floor to warehouse and loading docks. • Analyze logistical challenges and develop innovative solutions. • Motivate, coach, and supervise warehouse team members across all shifts. • Serve as a communication conduit between all three shifts. • Monitor quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of goods movement and storage. • Lead waste reduction and efficiency programs for pallets, stock rotation, and storage. • Uphold safe working practices, GMP, hygiene standards, and OSHA compliance. • Coordinate cycle counts and stock audits. • Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment, including scissor lifts, LGVs, and forklifts. • Oversee staff hiring, training, coaching, discipline, and performance reviews. Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations. Skills Working knowledge of ERP systems with strong preference on SAP Working knowledge of all aspects of warehouse and distribution management, including safety and OSHA regulations. Solid understanding & use of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and associated systems. Six Sigma/LEAN experience, preferably in a distribution/warehouse/logistics center environment. Experience implementing LEAN a plus. Analytical skills to include problem identification and resolution. Extensive knowledge of scheduling & pull systems (Kanban, sequence management, packaging, supermarket, product flow, etc.). Ability to apply resourcefulness and creativity to solve space problems and department activities (Pick-pack-ship, custom packaging, storage of spare parts, increase productivity, etc.) Strong verbal and written communication skills. Logistics Associate Shift: 2nd, (2pm-10pm) pay: $20-$21/hr (Based on Experience) We are seeking a dependable Logistics Associate to support warehouse operations on 2nd shift. Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing or food production environments and are confident operating a sit-down forklift. This role is responsible for accurate material movement, order picking, and inventory transactions to support production and distribution. Job Description: Operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and move materials. Pick and transfer materials between departments using FIFO and scan-gun systems. Verify order readiness with the Distribution Supervisor. Use MFGPRO or scanner guns to complete inventory transactions. Maintain accurate counts and follow all warehouse procedures. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Ability to read and write English. 2-3 years of warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred. Forklift experience required. Ability to lift 55 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
