Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager manages, organizes, and maintains our central warehouse in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for the overall flow of contents vaults, consumable inventory count, equipment organization, and fleet management. This role will maintain and enforce safety and cleanliness throughout the warehouse.

Job Description:
As the Warehouse Manager , your responsibilities will include:
Ensure that the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards and all OSHA standards are being followed
Knowledge with Samsara is a plus
Be experienced in pulling & backing in trailers
Maintain all equipment to clean and proper operating conditions daily
Including filter changes, oil changes, fluid checks, etc...
Maintain a satisfactory amount of inventory and supplies
Manage loss control and loss prevention of supplies, tools, and equipment including inventory
Call for dumpster service as needed
Assists with vehicle maintenance programs
Handles shipping and receiving as needed
Receiving flooring, inspecting for damages, and marking job codes on flooring
Assist the Warehouse Manager with vehicle Audits to ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, and properly stocked
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Possess a minimum of three years of experience within a warehouse setting
MUST KNOW how to back in/ pull trailers
Experience in service and maintenance of restoration equipment preferred (dehumidifiers, air movers, air scrubbers, portable and truck mount extractors)
Be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently
Be technology proficient (computer skills) and extremely organized
Proficient knowledge of forklift procedures and safety protocol
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Must possess a strong ability to work within a team setting to achieve mutual company goals
Valid driver's license
High school diploma/GED
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

About this Role
Mercer Technical Services, a Quanta Services Company, is looking for an experienced Logistics Project Manager - Pipeline to join our company as we expand our footprint and capabilities across highway, rail, and waterborne transport (including rail‑spur and yard development).
The Logistics PM will lead end‑to‑end execution on pipeline programs, as well as work to ensure pipe, valves, fittings, and associated material are traceable and in the right yard at the right time.
What You'll Do
Build the mill‑to‑ROW logistics plan: modes, lanes, schedules, rack/yard strategy, budget, and risk register; align with client EPC, construction spreads, and coating yards.
Lead pipe yard acquisition & setup (including rail‑spur planning where applicable), yard layout, traffic flow, rack design, cribbing, and stormwater/HSE controls.
Orchestrate multi‑modal transport (truck/rail/barge) for line pipe and permanent materials; secure oversize/overweight permits; sequence deliveries to spreads; manage demurrage and laydown constraints.
Oversee offloading, stringing, racking, and load‑out operations across spreads-meeting daily/weekly pull plans while protecting coating and bevels.
Drive inventory control & traceability (MTRs, heat/joint numbers, coatings, dimensions) using Mercer's visibility tools and advanced logistics platforms; maintain real‑time status for stakeholders.
Direct field logistics coordinators, yard supervisors, and carrier partners; set expectations on safety, quality, and schedule.
Source and manage carriers, heavy‑haul, rigging/lifting resources, and specialty equipment; enforce performance and compliance standards.
Own cost and schedule: forecasts, earned‑value look‑aheads, change orders, invoice approval, and close‑out documentation.
Run daily coordination with the client's construction and inspection teams; remove roadblocks quickly.
Champion our “Safety is our standard” commitment-execute lift plans, JHAs, rigging/signaling controls, and equipment inspections; stop work when needed.
Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance (DOT/FMCSA for transport; import/customs coordination when relevant).

What You'll Bring
