The Materials Manager is responsible for executing purchasing, production planning, and inventory management activities for the entire site, with a focus on best practice processes and achieving an optimal supply chain relative to metrics of Quality, Cost, and Delivery as determined by the Operating Company. Key Responsibilities: Develop strategic plan to achieve supply chain objectives, to include identifying and implementing spend strategies for the site. Responsible for supporting new product development and the ECN process as it pertains to purchasing and production planning. Participates in the S&OP process. Assist in product life cycle analysis process for the Kanban/ERP and own all direct material Kanban implementation and management.
