Los Angeles Pacific University company history timeline

2011

In September, APU launches Azusa Pacific Online University (now Los Angeles Pacific University), which holds its first class in June 2011.

2012

G.I. Jobs magazine names APU a Military Friendly School for the 2012-13 school year, positioning the university in the top 15 percent of United States educational institutions that provide the best services to help educate America’s veterans.

The Woodburn Campus opened in 2012, offering undergraduate and graduate teacher-preparation programs within the College of Education.

2013

In 2013, the College of Business was founded to further develop the existing undergraduate business degree programs and add graduate-level programs.

2014

2014 | Cascade Hall opens for student residents and is the seventh university building to be LEED-certified for sustainable building design

2022

In September, President Jon R. Wallace, DBA, unveils the Shared Vision 2022 to the APU community, focusing on Mission, Academic Reputation, Valuing People, and Financial Excellence.
